Popular place that offers take out , lots of choices. They remain open and are busy even after the businesses beside them have closed. Food is fresh as they are busy.
Shrimp & chicken in lobster sauce w/fried noodles & bean sprouts : Noodles had good wok hei (smoky wok flavour). Shrimp pretty tasty but flavour was heavy (which was why they recommended it with rice )
Pork with golden mushroom eefu noodles was especially humongous. Noodles had a tasty sauce with 2 types of mushroom : Button & enoki. Sauce was a bit salty but flavourful
As might be expected, the Chinese menu isn't exactly the same as the English one. Bring a friend who can read it, or trust Google's odd translations, if you want something more "authentic " Chinese
Seafood lo mein had a lot of seafood . The fish was ok, the shrimp was pretty bouncy. The sauce was clean tasting but on reflection this is not the dish to choose if you want smoky wok flavour.
If you eat here often, purchase their $12 discount card - gives you 10% off all orders, and they'll also throw in 1/2 a fried chicken !
Portions are big; Shrimp Singapore style vermicelli is not bad. Quite a lot of shrimp . Wok flavour is decent
Deep fried chicken on fried rice : fried rice was a big portion . It only had egg but was still tasty, with smoky wok flavour. Chicken had light batter, wasn't greasy. There were 3 pieces of chicken .
Ordered 1 fried chicken thigh . It wasn't as good as the previous time: it wasn't fresh though it was still somewhat crispy . It was rather mild tasting today. Got a free soy milk , which was decent.
During covid-19, open tue 11-330, wed-sun 11-8
Inexpensive .....But too greasy to eat everyday
