One of Chicago’s true gems. Great for a relaxing walk, a spot to eat lunch , or people-watching. Such a nice public space.
A great way to meander, soak the atmosphere & architecture along the river . Many places to stop for a bite or a drink as you watch other people & boats go by.
The restaurants along the riverwalk in the summer are the best! I also love the very simple water feature with playful fountains .
The river is beautiful. The architecture along the walk is so detailed. Chicago is proud of their historic buildings unlike cities that tear down old buildings rather than treasure their uniqueness
Scenic views of the river , skyline, great view of the different bridges and boat activities. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy. Great place.
What a great addition to Chicago. From the Loop to Lake Michigan, enjoy a stroll on the pedestrian walkway, Food and Beverage vendors, enjoy the river boat traffic. Create memories!

No1 thing t see and do. So lovely and lively , especially in summer. There are many cafes facing river , green areas for peaceful sunbathing , and river tour points. Perfect for people watching .
So beautiful. I love coming at different times of day because it offers different views of the water. Can’t believe it is in the heart of the city . The water and area looks very clean too.
Absolutely gorgeous walk through downtown Chicago with views of the river that run through the city . You can walk either on an elevated walk overlooking the river or down near the water.
Walk along the river on the pedestrian pathway and wave to the tour boats going by, while the cars whiz above. (I recommend taking a sunset tour too, if you have a chance!)
There are excellent views of the city . Though you can take your bike here, it is usually too busy and narrow to get comfortable .
Very good attraction , pick your own tickets and enjoy the tour by watching the Chicago architecture !
The improvements made by the city have turned this area into a great way to spend an afternoon. Sun, water, beer , and so many dogs!
An ideal walk from the lake to the heart of the loop. Scenic and calming . Nice cafés and a beer garden .

This is a great way for people who live downtown or in the West Loop to get to the lakefront path and run without having to stop at all the lights. It's kinda pretty too!
It's nice to just sit on a bench and just watch the boats and people go by amidst a beautiful background

Great views of the city ! It's also pretty secluded from the heavy foot traffic so it's a great way to commute if you want to avoid the crowds.
Awesome new path along the river !! So many cute restaurants and you have to stop for a drink
The new section is amazing! Stand under the bridge crossings for an amazing photo like this one.
