Premium hipster , great poached eggs , rich shakshuka !, with a dash of French sass. (Downside: the right wall’s wallpaper is of geese not sparrow.)
Decor is nice but their Banh Mi is puzzling. On one hand, bread is cheap — just as it should be. On the other the filling is underseasoned and the pork flank is stringier than tender
The trout brunch and shakshuka eggs were delicious! The texture and full flavors rival many other places, both in Canada and the United States , who offer similar dishes.
Refreshing multicultural, obviously middle eastern influenced, brunch ! Very good and friendly service ! Definetly a must in Montreal Brunches . Would go back anytime!
Delicious brunch menu , cute decor and great cocktails . Dinner menu was tasty but nothing spectacular. Can get loud when there's a DJ , which doesn't feel appropriate for the small seated cocktail bar .
Hipster-chic spot's always filled with Mile End neighborhood regulars . Don’t go too far after last call because they’ll be serving up one of the best hangover brunches in the city the next morning.
Went for Brunch with some friends and was very pleased by this joint! Beautiful atmosphere, delicious Eggs Benedict and lovely service!
Delicious, delicious, delicious. Busy at brunch but be patient - it's worth it. I had a special - smoked trout hashis and it was absolutely wonderful.
Get there early or expect a line for their brunch . I really like the fried eggs in skillet . If you're there at night, BASIL GIMLET !
For brunch , the toasts can be replaced with potatoes to make it gluten free . The buckwheat pancake and scallion pancake are not gluten free .
Excellent meals. The pork chop with Indian spices was delicious. The cocktails are good too.
Nice twists on classic brunch fare. Follow up with some tea in the Cardinal Tea Room upstairs.
Cocktails ! In Montreal! And without super loud laptop DJs playing in the corner. Do this place. It's lovely.
Great drink selection and amazing service. Try the Basil Gimlet ! Cheers
Really great choice of specialty cocktails . Interior is beautifully detailed, unique and characteristic. Great overall vibe. I really like this place!
Brunch is amazing. Donuts , their sage eggs . Plan to try the turkish breakfast .
One of the best neighbourhood bars in Montreal. Cozy atmosphere .
Inexpensive drinks and very chill . Good late night bar to hang out in.
Forget the Turkish breakfast item on the menu, not comparable to the one at Byblos. Smoked trout with pancakes delish though. Coffee OK...
The Spicy Caesar keeps me coming back time and time again (it's also just a great place, great service, great decor, great feel)
Best Breakfast I had. Amazing smoked salmon and other home-made curated meats ... try the potatoes they are out of this world ... the english breakfast is also blissfully perfect. A must.
Great place for a laid-back drink with the cool kids. I hear they brought their brunch back...
Awesome dinner spot in Mile End. Can't go wrong w/ the butter chicken .
Excellent service , good atmosphere for tapas on the large side and drinks.
Scrambled eggs with sage are lovely
Try the scones and the donuts , their specialities. Not impressive in my opinion. For brunch , the food is ordinary.
Great place for brunch on weekends
Chak Wow Sunday Thai pop up... delish! Especially the fish ...
Wonderful brunch ! Hot chocolate is so good and the eggs benedict are yummy!
Make sure you try the smoked chicken club ! It was amazing!
Sparrow Gin & Tonic uses fresh cucumber juice , very nice!
Great branding !
Liked the ambiance and staff is nice
Some of the best cocktails in the city .
Smoked pork chop with apple chutney is sooooo good
The drinks are good but it's a bit loud in there, wouldn't suggest to go here in a date.
Great vegetarian food options
In case you're curious: deviled kidneys taste like liver but have the texture of chewy mushrooms . Enjoyed the eggs royale and coffee .
For lunch on week days : service could be slow when it's crowded (expect to wait 20 min for a burger well done). Cash only or use their ATM machine (2$ fee).
Grab a dark and stormy , they are good here
Try the Aperol spritz !
Go for the fuego fresco !
Really delicious Spicy Caesar 's :)
Second on my list of good English breakfast , blood sausage and all!
Tartar Burger and a solid scotch menu, What more can i ask for?
Great place to have brunch ! So good....
Avoid the drip coffee , as it can destroy your brunch experience.
Solid brunch menus.
The house mayo ! ❤️
The best of the charcuterie is the duck proccuito. You'll dream about it until next you return. The fried duck confit is also perfectly presented. They do duck right!™ - Fitch ♚
Great Burgundy Ale, great service, and delicious food. Very much loved the home made Branston Pickle in the roast beef sammich. - Dean Smith
The lamb burger is the most flavourful, distinctive burger in Montreal. I'm calling it: best in the city! - Jonas
Charming, cozy and neo-rustic. Order any pizza on the menu and you'll be pleased. Good wine selection as well. - Massimo
Amazing beer selection, including 4 different IPAs when we were visiting. Saddle up to the bar, chat up the bartender, and try a few samples. The bacon flatbread pizza is an excellent snack - Cooper Smith
