Meatballs ? Yes please. Free coffee from Ikea Family ? Sure. The furniture ? Manage your expectations and you can only be pleasantly surprised!
It's big, it's got what I need. I usually enter through the exit - having done my shopping at home. I go straight to the bins to pick and get. Pro tip, grab a snack upon arrival. Ikea takes energy.
Staff Vincent (carried my mother's walker up steps so she could use escalator) & Angie (let me substitute a pear juice box for soda ) went above & beyond to make our shopping excursion better.
Just bought an armory for with my friend and it just made it into the car! I'm driving next time. Our sales guy. Arron was fabulous in helping us pick it out, checking stock and getting it!
It’s a big IKEA store. The setting is quite entertaining and they have a nice food court . Bought few useful things, furniture is easy to order online.
If you know what you need, it's best to map it out online before you come into the store. They do a good job of making sure all the shelves are labeled with corresponding numbers/letters.
I love this place!! Prices are affordable , good is nice and items inside market are satisfying and with good quality..
the furniture has built in obsolescence. but it's easy on the wallet! plus the food is a nice reward after finding your way through the maze of merchandise. it's built to keep you in!
A lot calmer early in the day. Good breakfast and great deals on furniture and home goods.
Large cheap selection of furniture and other home products. Make your phone calls before you come in, really poor cell phone connection. Be prepared to be here for two hours.
Really good to shop on weekdays. Calm and quite, not crowded .
Definitely heck out the showroom first and print out the IKEA Family club if you don't have one already
There is another bistro at check out. For those starving shoppers that don't want to wait on the long line at the cafeteria . Great food in both places.
Low price furnature of decent quality, gadgets, doodads and best of all - meatballs .
You can plan on just "running in to get something" but the truth is, you will be there for over 2 hours.
Even taking your kids to the children's display room will keep them entertained
Don't forget to sign up for the IKEA family card while your here, there are great discounts every month on many items.
If you follow the information on thw tag as to the location of the items you shoukd not suffer while shopping. Just pick up a list card and a little pencil... They're there for a reason...
Nicole M in bedding or the PAX department is amazingly helpful and knowledgable . Super nice and knows the catalogue front and back!
A lot of affordable wedding gift items here. They don't have a store registry, but you can scan items with Wedding Registry app.
Park on the 2nd floor (Green level). Cashiers are on that floor so you can skip the crowded elevators when you leave.
Great on a Wednesday afternoon. Almost no people in store!
Franklin folding chair is serving me well in the kitchen tonight while I paint in better light. :)
Here for our Monday morning breakfast . Eggs , bacon , hash brown potatoes & coffee . Yum free to early morning shoppers
Go to their cafeteria :)
Protip: make sure you have exactly what you need before you leave. If you have to go to customer service you have lost another hour easily
Labor Day is crowded but lines are surprisingly short thanks to extra staff . Well done Ikea.
If you're one of those couples who fights at ikea, do yourself a favor and get food before shopping.
Great selections and open for a more personal view .
Pay attention to where you park unless you want to play an extensive game of Hide and Seek.
Don't forget to pickup your ikea family card before heading to restaurant . Free coffee or tea . And discounts .
Good prices for what they sell. Not the highest quality but can be set up to look very nice.
if its not saturday and before 5pm the store is pretty empty and so is route 4. this is your best bet
Always park on the second level.
The ribs are delicious!
If you're a first timer, do yourself a favor and go upstairs to the showroom first. There's lots of displays where you can get ideas and inspiration.
I love the play area near the food court .
Need to return something? Take a number and grab some sweedish meatballs . You may be eating lunch and dinner
I've been to Ikea plenty of times & I've never had a single problem...obviously some people are just going to have problems everywhere so don't let one bad trip or comment ruin your experience.
Been lost in here for so long...this is my home now...
Treat yourself to a fat free frozen yogurt after checking out. You deserve it. :)
Come early on weekends if you're making a return!
If you survive the rush hour traffic on Route 17 AND a full day at IKEA Paramus, pat yourself on the back and buy yourself a drink : )
