Great location, short walk to shopping Pitt St & Circular Quay. Comfy room but small bathroom & pillows too soft. Multi adaptor provided ????????.Nice toileteries. Good breakfast
The Sofitel lounge has a great wine selection , but chophouse (out the bligh St entrance on level 1) across the road has a great outdoor area
BEST BEDS!!! you won't want to leave them. The front bar has happy hour - a great place to meet for a drink between work and dinner . GREAT supporters of the arts which is why I support them
How come Sofitel, which calls itself luxury hotel , can't afford decent wifi for its customers? Lobby wifi is free ONCE a day, max 30 min. Go to cafe on the other side of the street - they have wifi .
Great little coffee shop for beakfast 2 blocks up Hunter and then right called Rose Cafe 9.50 for 2 eggs and toast and large latte 4.00.
The best hotel bed in the whole wide world! Better than the famous Marriott beds. And Roger Gallet toiletries. What's not to love?
You can get 30 minutes FREE INTERNET every 24 hours in the lobby per each device you have. Just signin using option A and use ACCEPT as the password,

Nice hotel , very central and well appointed. Breakfast not worth the 40 dollars if you need to pay them but ok. The bar is very nice and overall staff friendly
I found that the lobby is the Only beautiful thing about this hotel
Fantastic location for the hotel and is located within the city center.
Don't forget to place a Do Not Disturb sign outside your door and never leave your belongings in plain sight. They are notorious for double booking rooms.
Nice Breakfast buffet , Great location - rooms are nothing special, you have to purchase WiFi in the rooms which comes complementary is most hotels today and bad quality tv .
The High Tea is great. If staying get a club room - the club is one of the better ones - if not the best I have used
Comfortable couches to sit and wait when ur in between appointments in the city .
Damn the pillows are to die for! Located smartly just a walk away from bridge and the opera house!
Excellent service right from the front door for the whole stay. Free upgrade was a nice surprise.
A great selection of yoghurt for breakfast . In my opinion, hotels never have a bigger enough yoghurt selection.
Beautiful lobby but rooms starting to get dates. I was in 644 and it was pretty noisy .
$10 flat rate evening parking till midnight. Fantastic for the middle of Sydney CBD.
I expected more from this hotel . The attendance at the reception is not bad at all but it could be better for a 5 stars hotel . There are better choices at the region. However, the gym is spotless.
The BED is GREAT! really really COMFY COMFORTER! i wonder where they purchase this???
get here on Thursday nite for two-4-one cocktails . great service + great value drinks = guaranteed big smile on your face =)
Nice nespresoo coffee n pastry for airline staff checking out early am
Slacking on the Free WiFi ! Nobody charges for Internet anymore. HK provides free WiFi everywhere!
Big dislike! the hotel became non-smoking 100%. And the internet charge is CRAZY, i don't understand why don't they offer lite usage free wifi for guests
Beautifully decorated lobby. The flowers , dimmed lighting & candles is very elegant.
They should provide 24h/7 internet access for free in all rooms
enjoy your australian breakfast ! its a good one, to start your good day! hmmmm yummy!!
The restaurant on level 5.
Club sandwich was a winner (which is pretty much compulsory for a decent hotel ) but the coffee was very average and very slow. Service left a bit to be desired.
shame no free wifi . can get on street across road for free
Received the sofitel on a mystery stay option on lastminute dot com. Genius!
The rooms are a little dated for the cost. However it was still nice.
Bedside clock charges both iphone four and five
Err the thing about the air conditioning is that it just don't work too well !
Wifi 100mb restriction frustrating. Fast until cap reached.
Need to request express checkout at check in.
The Wagyu steak at the Courtyard Restaurant on Level 5 is delicious
If having breakfast , ask Reception for a discount voucher : reduces price from $44 to $29.
the cheese cake with the high tea is the best
Possibly one of the downmarket hotels in Sydney. Try not get a low room facing Phillip street, the noise is terrible!
Wifi rates extortionate.
This is definitely a hotel
No pool no sauna ... All they are 'good' at is saying Bonjour
Dirty rooms, kettle not working... 5 stars?
No pool or spa ! Bathroom was broken and disappointed there were no slippers. Not 5 star.
Was disappointed to find out that the hotel doesn't have a pool.
nice and central
Love the breakfast and also the free drinks at happy hour - Kenny Nair
Relaxing atmosphere and comfortable seating arrangements. The food is superb with personal attentive service. Highly recommend the high tea. - Marisa Herro
I stayed there for 9 nights in a very nice corner room with a great view (3 big windows). I liked the gym and swimming pool downstairs. Very central, just perfect. - Thomas
The spa is stunning, the pool and massage were perfect. couldn't ask for more! - Victoria Mifsud
Try the Käsekrainer - Traditional Austrian junk food. Original taste. Don't miss to try! - Kay-Uwe S
Absolutely an amazing complex! Its history is unique. Guided tour is essential. Right after the tour you have a discount for a show! I had a chance to watch Tosca! - Suna A.
