Try East Side Ovens Bakery !! Local, fresh and made with loooooove!! Which means its delish!!

Get the Sendik's brand nitrate-free bacon . It is in a separate case from the rest of the bacon and it is the best!

Make sure to get one of their broasted chickens ; very tender and just right when you don't want to cook

This small local food market doesn't hold back on their wine selection . Not nearly as extensive as Ray's Liquor , a few of blocks west, but they do come up with some great deals on good wine .

Rudest people I have encountered in a grocery store . Pushy, in a hurry etc. not even are New Yorkers this rude. Maybe it is just this location on the last day of month at 5 pm. Not handicap friendly .
