The Sunday lunch menu was very good here, soup of the day then a unlimited hors d oeuvres from chefs table then main course and pudding all for £19.95 each.
Make an effort if your are visiting the bar on a weekend evening. Good cocktails - Bramble my hot fave!
Probably my favourite hotel that I've stayed in - really trendy and plenty of room! Great location and everything you need - slept like a log!
The olives as a starter are fresh and delicious...the steaks are a good bet ad well
We had afternoon tea , it was clear that it had been made ages in advance & put in the fridge . The salmon bagel started going clear & greasy. The scones didn’t taste fresh. Seats were dirty . :-(
Try the Black Forest martini ... Best drink I've ever had...
Sunday lunch was disappointing, no prawns , bread , cheese for starters, soup cold. Main ok. Not much choice in deserts , seems like they had over booked and not catered for enough food for everyone.
You won't regret trying the homemade granola at breakfast . It's a treat.
The Cosmo here is also very yummy (and slightly strong!)
The prawn cocktail starter, served in Ice bowl is retro , generous & great!!!!!
Lovely bar , but don't go on a night with me there I'm normally rowdy :)
Great location, nice bar and lovely room
Great hotel in a nice location
Try the black Forrest Martini , but don't be in any kind of hurry to eat. 3/5
Rooms feel old. Receptionists don’t really know how to smile.
Worth getting the lively bar man to get the Belvedere for the perfect vodka martini
Nice welcome, room and Meantime on tap .
Try the Gin Tonic (double of course) it is deliciously refreshing!
Beautiful hotel . Feels like what the Cosmo in Vegas wants to be.
Good Hotel , Highly recommend! Best Dineer I can find in Birmingham...so far
The porridge & berries at breakfast is the best!!!!
Nice hotel ... My favourite room is 432. English Breakfasts can be over cooked though
Eight quid for a glass of house white !
always go for the steaks ... not steak and frites , the proper steaks . they are gorgeous!!!
Ask for a strawberry mojito . Best in Birmingham.
Service good
Avoid swarm by leaving a tip instead #No2SwarmApp #SwarmKilled4sq
Quite probably the surliest rudest miserable bar staff in the whole of Birmingham and to be fair not the smartest top noch hotel bar I've ever been in !!
Breakfast : Skip the Eggs Benedict here; it's a small portion with overcooked eggs and tasteless.
DMN Birmingham Bar of the Month: January 2015 -www.dinebirmingham.co.uk/best-bars-in-birmingham
Room wi-fi very weak. Bar staff today unusually grumpy!
Black. Forest . Martinis . The must have drink if you're here!!! :oD
The black forest martini is yummy!
Get the Malburger. Bring a friend it's a monster!
Best kronenburg this side of the rio grande :)
Agree with Lapper K. Kronenburg is outstanding
It's true great krone burg
Have a mojito , best in the UK. Yum yum
I'd avoid 424 - terrible bath room, road noise, lift noise and effectively 2 beds pushed together travel inn style - not great
Have a mojito
Favourite place for after work drink wine list is awesome! Cocktails are great too - Esther Titchen
Fantastic hotel with a wide range of rooms and suites, all backed by professional staff - John Kirby
Really nice to see places like this opening up in Birmingham. We stayed for a couple of very good cocktails served by a friendly bartender who kindly made some recommendations on where to go next. - Mark Makin
Highly recommended! Great place for bars and restaurants. Lots of high quality shops too. A must see when visiting Birmingham. - Tara Dogra

Breakfast is not to be missed. Fantastic hollandaise sauce, veggie sausage to die for, eggs perfectly poached. - Mark G
