Space View Park

The views from this park are gorgeous... for watching rockets, for walking, running or anything

The Mercury stuff is easy to find, but they also have stuff honoring Gemini and Apollo astronauts . Go check it out as you walk to your car after a daytime shuttle launch (or landing)!

6/28: Managed to find parking on street/free too. Space-x launch. It was brutally hot. 2 1/2yr old didn't really enjoy it because of the heat, no shade...but I thought it was neat.

It is so good to see so many people intersted in this park . I wish it were cleaned a bit more often but the park system is pretty large.
