The beef toro was our favorite! I liked the chili boiled dumplings more than the fried kind. And save room for dessert . Taiyaki ice cream yummm

Cody was what made my meal tonight very pleasant. He's courteous and friendly . After waiting over an hour for a table, he understood our frustration and rushed our order. Make sure to ask for him! :)

Absolutely delicious. Loved the spicy soup w tofu , pork , kimchi & egg . The spicy tuna and crispy rice bites were excellent too.

I like the food and hot sake while the chef cook your order and you can see how manage the knifes and you feel the heat of fire in the grill. . .

food was good as usual. Meats not as well marinated. Looks like they just smeared the marinade/sauce on the meats so only one side of it has the sauce. The table sauces are always good

The sirloin matinated with rosemary is amazing. Duck is also good. And filet mignon .

Don't come hungry. Grilling the meat can take a while. New jalapeño marinade packs quite a kick, be aware if you can't handle spicy !

I normally go to Korean BBQ but unfortunately there aren't that many in the San Mateo area. This Japanese yakiniku style substitutes nicely when I don't want to drive to Sunnyvale for KBBQ.

The meat here seems to be better than the one served at Cupertino branch. However, the overall service is more variable when compared to the other branch.

They never disappoint. Try any of their beef in sweet soy sauce .
