One can look at all things tech and check them out. They also do repairs, but this can. Be problematic.
They make a higher profit margin with the add ons and preach to staff to always sell more (ie computer printers they always want to sell product plans, ink and way to expensive cables).
They've really stepped up their service. Calls get answered right away and I was able to get in and out much faster than in the past.
No wonder Best Buy is in trouble financially. They now will price match Amazon but only if Amazon is the one selling the item and not through a third party like they do with 95% of their products.
currently in the store, been waiting about 20 minutes in the mobile dept to be helped and employees are just walking past me. It would be nice to have some customer service. Where's the store manager?
I bought ram online & picked it up in the store. It was quite a hassle
They will probably go out of business soon. A shame, because it's a good venue to see what certain items actually look like before buying them online from a much better supplier. Not from Best Buy.
Direct TV guy in TV section was quite nice and very helpful! Funny too!
Geek Squad very helpful here, they even did me a favor for free when I had trouble replacing my own hard drive.
For me, the Black Tie warranties have already paid for themselves. I recommend them for the high end electronics .
I told them what I wanted and they didn't try to up sell me.
if getting some sort of game or in that area. . . Look for the associate, Rob, he is an awesome guy, and knows so uch about stuff!

Only go to best buy mobile if you have plenty of time to spare. Five associates, only two are helping customers.
Geek Squad is super slow. Almost always an hour wait for a tech. Keep that in mind when they offer an extended warrantee plan.
Online ordering is a joke during the holidays. A day later with no update in it being ready and then I go to the store and they are sold out. Jen the cashier was nice though
It would be nice if the staff was helpful. Instead they avert their eyes and shuffle into the backroom.

Curbside pickup is supposed to take 3 minutes. After 25 minutes waiting, I had to go inside.
Customer service sucks :( went to make a simple return that was a product of there's only .... Even with rec they won't give you cash if over 30 days .... They said I was out of luck .. now its 15days
The worst experience ever in a store, 50 employees and nobody knows what they are doing, but they will be sure to pester the hell out of you, but cant answer a question, will never go here again
