Beautiful park ... It is on the water with giant shady trees . It is also in Riverside which is an up and coming area. I highly recommend the park .

In 1918 the Jacksonville Rotary Club came up with a concept to honor the 1200 Floridians who perished in WWI. The city purchased the property and dedicated the park on Christmas Day 1924.
