Best Safeway in PDX, hands down. Great produce section (including organic ) and much lower prices than Whole Foods . Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable staff ! Try the sushi - it's made in store.

This is the coldest Safeway I have ever been in. I enjoy not being overly warm but I highly suggest bringing your warmest winter jacket a scarf and a hat. For produce bring a parka!!!

My wheelchair batteries charger malfunct and they let me charge while using their motorized shopping cart to buy groceries . Customers are kind, donate to homeless, help less fortunate in our community

Self checkout = ace option when you're not feeling New Seasons chatty.

Plenty of options for coconut water but sometimes they get wiped clean . Decent beer selection with plenty of local options.

Beware of expiration dates at this store! Some the products on the shelves can be expired, we have noticed this quite a few times!

The checkout staff is in no rush to get you out of here. They are, by far, the slowest I've seen. Do self checkout whenever possible.

When buying items marked down, the self checkout forces the attendant to manually enter every one while you wait. Fred Meyer doesn't do this. Waste of fucking time

Regular evening manager doesn't do anything. Unless you count staring at his one cashier handling a line of 10 people from behind customer service as doing something.
