Wow! What a great park . By far the best park I have ever been to in my life! So many things to do here and there is something here for everyone. Basketball , tennis ,jogging, beautiful scenery .. Etc.
Great place for running after a long day or to relax with friends on the weekend. Go exploring and check out the wooded walkway through the Six Springs Wetlands near the dog park !
Such a beautiful place in Atlanta. Amazing landscape, it has pool, some courts, concerts on sundays, walking trails . It's a must!!

Piedmont Park is just a beautiful as Central Park in New York. I had my first "family picnic " here. There's also a big doggie park area for Fiddo to run around and play.

So much room for activities! Seriously tho, if the park seems crowded there's always a nook or cranny longing to be filled. Best place for frisbee throwing and people watching .

The Atlanta Jazz Festival is held here every Memorial Day weekend and features jazz legends as well as up-and-coming artists . It's one of the country 's largest and best celebrations of jazz music .
During summer time this is the best place to take a while and get some "me time" or spend time with a friend. It's peaceful and pretty.

The annual Dogwood Festival is one of our favorite ways to celebrate springtime in Atlanta. It's moved around in recent years, but its true home is at Piedmont Park.
Use 10th street entrance for best parking , but don't park across from Grady on Charles Allen- you will get a ticket...
Whether running, excercising or chillin'. I love this park . If you have to drive there, parking is a bit of a pain be prepared to pay.

I left the suburbs to live within walking distance of Piedmont Park (and midtown MARTA). Smart move! Now I donate $ to Piedmont Park to keep up my "yard."
