If you go on Fri/Sat/Sun the nature center is open. It is all volunteer-run. They have educational stations and locally crafted gifts & artwork for sale.
Park has water streams where you can play. There are always ducks swimming in the water. The water is cold even in summer so that’s perfect. You can also bring food and do a picnic ????.
Perfect. You can wade in the water, walk on the damn, and fish when they stock the water with trout .
Quiet little passive park , love to listen to the water falling and enjoy the WPA stone work (look it up kids).
Beautiful surroundings and they have a restroom .
