Great museum of Yokohama's maritime history from 15 to 21 centuries. Especially cool is the ship simulator - standing behind the rudder and the wide 5-screen display, you can almost get seasick!
I was impressed with the renewal. Quite informative. Not everything is in English, but enough to still enjoy it.
If you're interested in ships and ports , this place is really exciting.

展示 内容が豊富。特に占領下の横浜の展示 は他にあまり例を見ないもので興味深い。隣の日本丸と合わせてたっぷり 3 時間は楽しめる。残念なのは開館時間が短いことと、写真 撮影禁止なところ。
日本丸一世に乗船して見学 することが出来ます。他、ドック、横浜港 を知ることが出来ます。

ボランティアさんの解説を聞きながら常設展示 を周ると横浜開港の歴史と近代史をより学べます。
シュミレーターは実際の操舵訓練用の機器を見学 用に設置しているとの事、リアルな操舵を体感できる。
