Orangutans at islands . Look out for puluh the largest hairy orangutan. So graceful and gorgeous. My favourite animal at the zoo .
The Lemur enclosure where you are inside with them was a huge hit with our girls. Great zoo - with the COVID restrictions, make sure to not pass up a place to eat....lunch was a struggle.
Brilliant, the enclosures are pretty big and they have loads of animals. Remember when visiting the penguins, there is a place you can see them underwater
Amazing zoo , some of the best enclosures I’ve ever seen - huge, so wear sensible shoes ! The Islands section is amazing.
pay £55 for an adult membership and you'll easily get your moneys worth esp. if you have a little'un. pop in for an hour, have a picnic , see a few animals and next time see some different ones. great

There is an app you can download to help you find where you are in the zoo . Well worth the wait to see the baby rhino

The bugs are amazing! Make sure you get your photo's done so you can see them in the shop :-)
Try to avoid going when it's hot and sunny - the animals disappear in the shade and out of sight.
There are lots of picnic areas inside so do bring along your own food. The monorail and waterbus costs £2 per adult.
The bat house is brilliant .... Your eyes get used to the dark (eventually) the you will see the massive ones!!

Great zoo . Kids love it.
If you can, give yourself at least half an hour for the bat cave . When your eyes are used to the dark the cave is much more interesting. The smaller bats hang from the ceiling
Hide the sandwich cards they give you for toasties under a plate before the till, and get them free ;)
Whatever you do don't miss out on the bat house . Best thing here.
Nice place try and go offpeak if you want it to be quiet .
Access for disabled visitors not great here, lots of doors & gates to get through, improper pathways, cramped disabled toilets & not many low-level viewing areas!
The new painted dogs area over by the rhinos is fantastic, a great use of an area that didn't get much attention before.
The butterfly house is stunning. Make sure you see the dinosaurs (on until Nov 12).
A great day out for the whole family. Get membership for a years entry & to get 20% off food & gifts from the shops.
