Wow. What isnt good here. R.P. Used to be my favorite but now Jitlada has become my number one. Only bad thing is parking and the douche valet. Food is awesome
Hidden menu !!! Ask for the burger !! It is quite good. Who knew thai food and burgers go together so damn well . Well ...for me at least...
Truly authentic + wildly deep menu. Best part—everything's made from scratch + they're willing to make *anything* vegan , just ask. Their panang curry with fried tofu is worth killing for.
Jazz and crew have created an institution! spicy southern Thai food - every dish is something amazing. favorites: crying tiger. southern curry . duck .
Incredible authentic Southern Thai food . Try the coco-mango salad , steamed mussels , softshell crab curry , crying tiger pork , and insanely spicy beef stir fry dish.
While dishes aren’t innovative, they play the Thai greatest hits (and remixes of them) as good as anyone. Well worth the adventure if you want a spicy , fresh escape LAs Korean BBQ-palooza for a night.

Thank you foursquare users for the spice warning. I'm no stranger to hot food (I love habaneros !) but the medium spicy had me sweating. Still, this place is amazing - I want to try everything!!
Esquire: Ask owner Jazz Singsanong 2 choose 4 u, or point at random: jungle curry prk, spicy crabclaw morning glory , turmeric ctfish, mssels green crry. prepare mind &palate 4psychedelic flavor wallop
Order Kua Kling, one of the most well-known Southern dishes besides Gang Tai Pla and Gang Leung! Ask for the spiciest level if you dare. I'm from the South so I know what I'm talking about :)
The most authentic southern Thai restaurant in the US! Tastes just like what you'd have in Nakhon Sri Thammarat, where the owners are from. I find their non-Southern food so so. So stick with that!
Tourist tip: to cool down while enjoying SPICY deliciousness, order a smoothie - with refreshing flavors like lychee & rambutan, it will help ease the pain... but remember to ask for it non-spicy!
Secret item : “Jazz ” Singsanong’s sweet and spicy Thai burger , served “protein style ” with sliced red onions , tomato , and basil . Only Jazz makes it, so check and see if she’s around first.
Loved this hidden gem ! Good food and good people. Had the crispy morning glory , crying tiger, steamed mussels , and southern curry .
Fave: crying tiger beef , kua kling lamb (less spicy ); skip: tom ka
Love the khao yum! This is the only place I have ever been able to find the dish.
Such an extensive menu, will need a year to try a lot of it! Try anything, everything's good!
Best thai in LA and surroundings. Maybe even better than Thailand! And spicy , be careful! If you dare, choose the crab soup ..
Every dish here was superb. Loved the mango salad , the Panang curry , and the spicy mint noodles .

Curtis Stone's "Best Thing I Ever Ate" is the Crying Tiger Pork . Also, try out their specialties from Green Mussel Curry to the Phangga Jungle Curry .

Amazing spicy ! Love the jazz ice coffee and red curry !
You think you're into spicy food ? Don't be a crazy person. Order all your food mild here and you'll still clear out your sinuses.
When they say spicy/hot, they mean it, esp. on back side of the menu. Don't be shy with Qs. They will rec things to knock your socks off, in that really awesome, super-Scoville chili way. Amazing eats
Locals brought me there, mentioning on of the best Thai food ever, and they were right. Also, a very cute waitress .
Had the the green curry mussels . They're huge and delicious! A bit pricey , but worth it.

Ask Jazz to recommend dishes for you. My faves include crying tiger beef , crispy catfish salad , deep fried sea bass smothered in spicy sweet chili mango sauce , and coconut lotus soup .
Spicy southern curry is really good. Coco mango salad is nice compliment to any of your spicy favorites. Salmon soup is a less known gem as well .

An unassuming little Thai place in Hollywood. If you go, I recommend ordering off the back menu ("the good stuff") - the escargot is my favorite- with some thai ice tea to wash it down.
least favorite LA restaurant experience. The crying tiger beef was tiny (pictured in full) and not tasty and expensive . The morning glory salad thing was pretty good. Menu 300+ items. Bad vibes. ????????
They have a dynamite challenge if you're brave enough to try and finish it.
morning glory , hot as bloody hell but good. green mussels also good. expect to pay $20 a dish and long wait times to get your food, even if the place appears empty.
Best Thai food in LA, hands down. When they say spicy , they mean it.
Awesome Thai food ! The southern specialties are good and spicy .
Southern curry is unbelievable... So flavorful and even though my mouth was on fire I just couldn't stop eating

Spice scale: Mild = spicy . Medium = extremely spicy . Spicy = panic attack. Papaya salad is especially aaa-ma-zing.
Food is awesome but the wait is long, very popular place... definitely not a place to visit if you're looking for something quick...
Definitely expensive considering the other options in the area
