Although Shinjuku Sta. and Higashi-Shinjuku Sta. are very close, they put you on different sides of the Oedo Line . Please take care when using this line .

Avoid Yamanote Line during peak times unless you enjoy the sardine experience

You can transfer Suica pass to your iPhone. Don’t need a Japanese version iPhone, change Setting - Language & Region - Region to Japan , then you can add it in Apple Wallet.

VERY huge and confusing. Enter from any gantry at JR Line if u taking Narita airport express. Be ON TIME or early! It is quite a walking distance frm main station.

Make sure you know which company operates the line you’re looking for, and follow directions for that company.

JR serves 5 commuter lines , Yamanote Line (JY), Chuo Local Line (JB), Chuo Rapid Line(JC), Saikyo Line(JA), and Shonan Shinjuku Line (JS). Some limited express are also available.

HUGE station , more like a labyrinth. Good luck for going from one side to the other. Convenient to shop, eat and hang out. Tends to be crowded but major Shinkansen lines here.

Mental. So many train lines , make sure you know what line youre on, lots of construction around the platforms at the moment so a bit tricky

One of the biggest station in Japan and wrong exit means long walk. Connected with the bus station and the infamous Shinjuku area. Stupidly packed during peak hours like seriously avoid it lol

Busy busy busy, best tip is to know which exit you want as there’s so many and you can easily end up on the wrong end!

If you do not feel comfortable in crowds? Give this place a miss. It is buzzing all day long.

This station can be confusing if you’re not careful. Keep an eye on the signs and line colors for hints. Good luck!

ダンジョンが西、南、東の３つのエリアに別れていて、東の改札はB1、西は1F(実際の高さは変わらないけど)、南は2Fぐらいの感覚と把握すれば迷わないんじゃないかな！

行こうとする場所 によってどこに向かえばいいかがわかりやすくなった気がする。意外にもバスタ新宿 側のコンコースはわかりやすくて、地下コンコースや中央東口・中央西口辺りに漂うかつてのダンジョン感は薄い。

ぶっちゃけ、乗り換えのためだけにこの駅を利用してる分には迷うことはないのかも しれないが、ひとたび駅の外に出てそこからどこかへ行こうとなるとかなり苦労すると思います。

バスタ新宿 、NEWoMan、高島屋へは代々木・渋谷寄りの階段を使うと便利

まさにそこは迷宮と書いてラビリンス。一度踏み入れたら最後どこがどこだか分からなくなる

南口は待ち合わせするには人が多すぎるから、Flags側の改札がが待ち合わせの穴場だよ！

7月19日より東西自由通路の供用が開始され、小田急・京王の乗換改札からの東口への移動ができなくなります。

高尾行きで新宿 で他の路線 に乗り換える人は、8号車前から2番目のドア辺りがお勧め。

10両編成の湘南新宿 ライン横浜方面行きは15両編成が停車する代々木寄りには停車しない車両がある為、注意が必要です。

湘南新宿 ラインと交互に来ることが多い

迷いはしないが、とにかく面倒な構造。そして迷いなく突進してくる人の多さ。

ホームから出るときは、どの階段で降りるかがとっても重要。油断すると、二度と出てこれないよ

行くたびに道に迷う。フロアマップ見ても理解できない。構造が複雑すぎる。

山手線･中央線のホームよりも代々木よりにズレてます。降りる場所 によっては乗り換え時間が意外とかかるのでご注意を(^_^)ﾉ

電車降りて東、西は階段を降りる、南とバスタは階段を昇る。これで完璧。

Чтобы не потеряться всегда использовал South Gate. Это выход на широкую улицу, где можно соориентироваться. Там же расположен JR Information Centre.

1~4番線は路線 がごちゃごちゃなので乗る前にしっかり確認を。

初めて行くと迷子になります。マップを開いても誤差で自分がどこにいるかわからない。人も多くて思うように動けない。

東京行き最終は23:47です。

とにかく混んでいるし、エレベーター見つけにくいしで、ベビーカーの人にはとてもハードなエリアです

山手線、中央線、埼京線、湘南新宿 ラインの他、多くの特急が発着します。埼京線・湘南新宿 ラインホームがやや他のホームと離れています。

新宿 初の中央特快は中野駅は通過です。

2Fは南側、地下1Fが中央東口、西武線のり ばに近い。
