Instead of eating the usual meat in your burrito , try portobello mushroom instead. It's meaty, filling & quite tasty. I prefer it over any meat & I am not vegan ! Try the powerful margaritas too.
Shrimp Quesadilla is CRAZY TASTY! The Scratch Margarita is the best. It's not on the menu , but if you ask for a Sangria Margarita they just might make it for you ;)
Simply put, go to El Rey for the fantastic food (always fresh) and the awesome drinks (my favorites are the Bloody Mary and any of their traditional lime margaritas ). The service is always terrible.

Large beer menu is what keeps me going back even though Leroy has kind of got me going there now. Salsa is best thing about the food here. Rest of the food is good but you will be waiting on it.

Sangria didn't have any fruit in it, what's up with that? Nevertheless, the gulf shrimp taco was pretty tasty.
