Sweet Belem

An institution for a reason. The tarts are wonderful and deserve the hype, but the new additions above the cabinet have made me a weekend regular. Hard to go wrong with the strawberry and cream tart .

Their Portuguese tarts are the best in Sydney, hands down but next time try their pear tart - impressive and delicious!

Their pastel de nata (custard tart ) is the best in the world! Even better than the famous place in Lisbon!

Custard tarts with nutmeg are amazing here, flaky & sweet. Cute pastry place on canterbury rd with loads of great pastry options.

I like the blueberry tarts better than the ordinary Belem tarts but both are delicious!

The portugese tarts are simply amazing. Who would have thought a simple custard tart could be so wonderful. Chocolate Salami as well ....don't ask questions, just do it.

Had the Portuguese egg tart - crust was very good, however the custard was too sweet.

No where near the best Portuguese tarts in town , a little disappointing seeing petersham is basically little Portugal as far as sydney goes.
