Order the chicken and waffles but honestly you don't need the waffles because the chicken is good. The waffle has orange zest so be careful if you are allergic.

The jar of hummus with pita triangles was amazing! I also had the burger which was good, but a little over-charred on the outside. Overall I would definitely go back.

Pretty decent mashed potatoes , and good chicken , but the wait was absurd.

Though max's is a far cry from what I'd call a dive, it has a nice atmosphere. Great lunch menu ! Nice beer selection & great wine .
