Mostly everything is fresh! If getting crab get Santa Barbara crab meat is sweeter then the others. Don't get the cheap lobster that has already be cooked taste like water.Cajun Shrimp, clams, ceviche !
Everything here is awesome! Grilled shrimp with fries and garlic bread is a no brainer, and the glam chowder is one of the best you’ll ever taste.
Over 20 kinds of oysters ranging from $1.95 to $3.50 each. Fresh! Make sure to bring your own sauce to make tasting better. Live crabs , clams and mussels are delicious and cheap . Get grilled squid too
If you are an uni lover, this is a must go-to spot. 12.99/lb and one of the freshest unis you will ever consume.
Unique restaurant . There are 3 places to order: a spot for steamed seafood (fresh), a spot for drinks, & a spot for fried / variety of food. Fish n chips were great and huge portions for good price
Newspapers provided for you. Hammers where you order drinks. Refundable deposit for the hammers. Dungeness crab , clams and oysters . Friendly guys , working there, too. Love this place.
Order where you see it. Grab a ticket if it's busy. Order the stuff that takes longer to cook first and the other stuff after (crab/lobster, then fish , then oysters , then steamed clams ...etc..).
the place to buy "live crabs " ???? and seafood when in Redondo Beach Harbor ⛵️????
FRESH seafood what more can you ask for? Honestly, don't expect it to be a fancy restaurant though. Dining tables are in a patio where seagulls can fly in and attack you while you're eating
It gets really packed so yey to go early. Fresh seafood is amazing here.
Perfect place to eat oysters . They are very good and the "waiters " are awesome !!
sardines are $3.25 a pound, and they'll broil or fry them, cleaned without heads or with everything in there. rice is $1.65, and much better than the cole slaw .
While the seafood has its hits and misses, the live, freshly-shucked sea urchin is delicious and inexpensive , around $11 a pound.
Bill is the best fishmonger here. He takes the time to help select the best fish and also seems to take more care when prepping the fish .
Don't forget to stop before you go and buy lemons and tapatio because they don't give enough lemon and the tapatio in 5.00 a bottle for the small one.
Loved this place since I was a kid. The BEST place to eat seafood .
Seafood is okay but I was a little shocked to see the inflated prices.. $4 an oyster ..?
Fresh oysters and friendly staff .
Anything here is pretty fresh and amazing. Never a bad experience!,
Order first then head to the oyster bar . Food takes between 30-50 minutes on busy nights
Fresh crab
Fresh seafood for cheap--whole live uni for a fraction of resto cost.
Get the fresh oysters shucked while you wait.
Fresh seafood . Variety and all yummy!
Come here for fresh quality seafood. The name doesn't lie. The best.
Long lines . The ceviche was terrible . Grilled fish was pretty good. Clam chowder ok. French fries good . Lots of beer choices
A ridiculously mismanaged clip-joint run by an absolute cretin dishing out rubbery lobster and an ugly attitude to boot.
Be sure to get the Santa Barbara crabs . So juicy.
Come early if you want to be eating paella !
Neat, fresh and cheap seafood - try the Paella , it's good for you!
Know what you want and make sure you get in the right line !
Excellent choices of seafood
Fresh seafood lovers heaven.
Really disgusting. Tried it once: Dirty mussels in the paella , half raw fried fish and fries fried in old oil. How is this dirty , run down place so popular? Ok, beer is cold and nice
Ask for lemons ! You're gonna need them... to rub your hands with after you eat!
Great fresh seafood
Choose a variety of oyster on the half-shell. Yum!!
Recommend the broiled red snapper . I do not recommend the shrimps on a stick or the clam chowder .
Parking on Coral connects to restaurant . Little neck clams with white wine sauce = the bizz
Kinda like the "Soup Nazi" except he is "The shellfish Nazi and the shellfish is horribke, tasteless, and rubbery.
Always order the dungeness crabs and clams . To splurge, get the sea urchins .
Try the Dungeness Crab - Delicious!!!!
Special announced.. spend $25, get $25
Go for the very fresh uni!
See Ernie for your fish ...

Ketchup and sauces at the register, napkins ans salt on the tables
Long lines and wait times for average and overpriced food.
Dungeness crab .
