Khans is BY FAR my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities . They have a great spread for the buffet bowls and everything is so fresh! The sesame seed buns are a perfect way to end a perfect meal.
We have been coming here for over 19 years. Still one of our go to's for anniversaries and birthdays. You can't go wrong with a Mojito here either. Yuuuuummmmmy
If you love Asian food and mixing and matching this is your place. Also, the chips and dip , sweet rolls and rice are a good addition to the already filling meal.
Gluten-free eating could not be more pleasant here! I told my server I needed GF, and she showed me which noodles to avoid, mixed my sauce, and had all the chefs use a clean grill and GF soy sauce !
Amazing food with great service! For excellent service, ask for Jon-o. They changed their appetizer , so don't be disappointed if you don't get those delicious chicken wings if you don't ask for them.
Great food have been coming here for years ...don't forget the peanuts with your meal!!
It's great because you get to pick out everything you want downright to the sauce!
Place the meat at the outer edge of the bowl so you can put more noodles and fixins in the middle.
When filling your bowl, do the noodles last.
Dragon Hot isn't as hot as you think it is. Add six scoops (Disclaimer: It is hotter than you think it is, only add six scoops if you don't plan on surviving the meal)
Tip: Get more meat then you think you need and fewer noodles than you think you need. Put the noodles on top AFTER you get everything else so you don't have to do an awkward balancing act.
Love Love Love it! Been going for 16+years.
Great place to go and not be swamped with kids. Very bad place for kids. But for adults it's great
Friendly staff . Good food. But NO to-go boxes! Lots of wasted food!
They got rid of the old appetizer plate and switched to wontons chips and teriyaki salsa sauce to keep costs down. The old appetizer plate is still available for an extra cost but you have to ask.
Their sugar steamed buns are simple and delicious!
Make a dent in your noodles to house some of the smaller things that tend to fall off
Still with one of my faves
My secret sauce concoction : 1 Ginger water. 1 house spicy . 1 dragon sauce. 3 cooking wine . 3 teryaki. Tastes great and has a little zip to it!
Try adding peanuts at the grill, seafood is my fav!
I love their sugar-filled steamed buns :)
Some of the best food in the whole Metro area!
top lay you're meat flat to fit in more goodness n fill you're bowl high!!
Very friendly , especially at the bar !
Great gluten free options
Yummy place!
We LOVE khans!!
Make sure to bowl press your meat before adding vegetables and use the peppers as columns to hold in your noodles .
They now serve some sort of left over wanton chip salsa in lieu of chicken wings and soup :( thumbs down.
Best Mongolian in town . Bar none.
I always add meat last to my bowl otherwise it takes up too much space on the bottom of the bowl.
Try the peanut sauce .
They no longer have free appetizers . This is an outrage!!! Makes me wonder if I'll ever come back. :( bad move Khan's.
I'm disappointed that they don't give you soup and chicken wings anymore. That sucks.
Sub the gluten free fusilli noodles in the penne rosa dish for a great GF option! Also, the customer service at this location is great!! - Anna Crowe
Chicken almond ding has been my #1 comfort food as long as I can remember, and Vina does it best! Also AMAZING eggrolls. - Freesia Carlson
Kung pao chicken and Chicken with cashews are the best! Yummy cream cheese wontons too! - Emily McCann
Make sure to ask for paper bags or bring your own. Cashiers will use plastic. - Jennifer
