If it's really empty, there's a cool echo when you walk around in front of the stairs on the bottom floor. Science.
Gets a little nippy in here. Would suggest a sweater/light jacket . You're welcome, my frigid friend.
The "Miller Student Learning Center" was previously known as the SLC (short for Student Learning Center) up until early 2010. Most students and faculty still refer to it as the SLC.
I've come up with a solution to the name problem. This building is now and forever the S&MLC. You're welcome.
Get to know all of the people in jit Joe's. Makes your caffeine addiction cheaper and your mornings brighter
The water at the third floor east water fountains is the coldest in the building. Your welcome.
More Kindles have been added to circulation and check out period has been reduced to 14 days so more people can get in the rotation.
Try out the reading room on the third floor. It's a nice quiet place to study!
I say we call it the ZLC so you have the new name and similar to the old name. :-)
The 3rd floor security desk will happily kick douchebags who sit alone in a study room out for a group!
If you are reading in the 3rd floor reading room , I hope it isn't an ebook because security gets pissed if you are using a laptop or e-reader
You can't find an open study room at night look for a classroom not being used on the second floor
Jittery Joes sometimes smells like cat litter, and the coffee tastes similarly. UGA would get 10x as much $ from me if it was a Starbucks.
If you call it the MLC people will look at you funny & know you're either a freshman or sophomore.
Second floor jittery joes is the best place to buy something to help you get through studying!
The cushions come out of the red chairs. Use them to make a bed during finals week.

you can check out laptops on the 3rd floor (east side) - they even have ipads!
Don't steal the stapler or else you might get a visit from DR. STAPLE!
Go to the fourth floor if you want complete peace and quiet to study!
Never buy from Jittery Joes is you're on meal plan; go across the street and up a little ways to O-House! You're already paying for it!
Do not answer your phone or talk loudly on the upper levels (3 and 4) unless you want to receive death glares from everyone.
It's like a home! Take it from someone who lived there for a straight week for finals.
Classroom 205 can be reserved to practice presentations. Just do it a few days in advance.
Apparently tour guides are pronouncing the MLC like "milk " to tour groups. It sounds weird
I don't know anything about this place, other than I was walking by this place. I'm probably not the best person to leave a review here.
It's impossible to get a room to study in here during finals week. So don't even try.
Good luck getting a study room around midterms or finals!
Be aware of your surroundings and dont have loud gossippy conversations around people trying to work
Coffee is your best friend here.
SLC blows during finals. I don't even bother coming here the last week of class and finals week.
Bring whiteboard markers, they're great for writing on study room windows!! just clean up afterwards, yeah?
It's always cold in the SLC, so be sure to bring a sweater.
Corner office . Great view of the projects.
We're going to start calling the SLC/MLC the Zell.

The S in the SLC was going to stand for "sexy," but then President Adams was quoted saying "that just wouldn't fly."
Get over yourselves and just call it the MLC.
To paraphrase Regina George, "Freshmen stop trying to make MLC happen. It's not going to happen."
