Ravintola Nerone

Nerone is an adequate nice little Italian restaurant (despite it's dubious health-related history). The pastas and pizzas are really tasty. Space is limited thou.

Luckily it's not the 90's anymore so do yourself a favor and go to some other new and good Italian restaurant in Helsinki with better food.

We visited this place based on the shining reviews. Unfortunately, either we're used to a different type of Lasagne , or the tipsters are easy to please (hard to believe!). Salad was passable.

Del Norcino for sinful & heart-stopping meat OD experience, and props for excellent lasagne ! Also, interior with its wall-paintings depicting classic Roman-era gladiator figures, deserves to be noted

Authentically noisy & nice personnel! Like!

Starter breads are delicious, big enough for two. Also, the chicken pesto pasta is great.

The mushroom pizza is a solid hit and will keep you and your veggie friends fed for the day.

Steaks , Fish & Chicken also available. For those not wanting to OD on Carbs, or needing to think after the lunch , ask to get your order with Salad or Vegs .

Portions are big, you won't leave hungry.

If you are in a hurry during lunch time, avoid Pasta al Forno . Takes relatively long time to deliver and it's cold inside almost every time

Try the excellent chili oil these guys have standard on the table! Spice it up :)

Indeed. The lasagne was good and could've satisfied at least a couple of people.

I wouldn't recommend taking the carbonara here. Altough the lasagne is good one!

Great food, but avoid Salami incredients! (predicting it's been somewhat old for few times)

Value for money . Meat lovers choice is Del Norcino

Pasta was a big disappointment. Chicken was bad quality and mushrooms were squishy. Would not recommend.

Lasagne was really good here!
