Love love love that familiar English oldies are played here. Chicken is good too and not overloaded with overly sweet gravy . Soup doesnt taste like it has msg in it.

Do order their Pork Balls as add-on, quite tasty. Char Siew Pun Fei Sau is way better than their Steamed Chicken . Chilli sauce provided also so-so. -Penang Kia Food Critique-

Both roasted and steamed chicken is good. Pork ball , roasted pork and char siu worth trying as well . I like the environment particularly as their staffs quite friendly and efficient

12 ringgit 4 a single person Char Siew rice . I asked the boss why, he said this is good stuff, 22 ringgit p/kg. Yet I was given a small portion with rice . He told me nexttime askprice before ordering?

They play golden oldies and serve yummy chicken rice . It's also pretty cool and shaded too.

Nothing beats the vibe of eating Chicken Rice under mist and twinkling lights while golden oldies play in the background.

Nice chicken rice with free oldies playing at night time, very relaxing outdoor environment. Price is somewhat higher though.

According to my old PJ, this shop came before the BIG BIG one next to it. And many claim that its chicken taste better. So go compare for yourself.

Chicken rice still quite good. Didn't really like the charsiew here. Siewyuk also ok. Night time can enjoy oldies music playlist.

But the price is slightly expensive : dried hor fun (small) with 5 porkballs was rm6, the CharSiew plate rm10, herbal tea rm2.5.

Not only do they serve really fast, they also provide awesome retro songs. Sit near the back right next to the retro radio and enjoy. :)

Old school chicken rice . Just have taugeh and chicken , they don't serve fancy dish like the neighbour shop.

Rm13 chicken (not breast) + char siew rice . Portion ok but definitely not delicious. Char siew fats are tough and half of my char siew are fats.

not really a test chicken rice ; rice is dry, chicken not tasty, chilly sauce not nice and presentation sucks. My friends however enjoys the char view , probably that is nice. Go there to company frens.

Only the Chinese Uncle with the cap is friendly . The other bald one who manages the place in the morning always grumpy

I ordered chicken and char Siew . 1 person eating. Add chicken . 1 rice . 1 herbal tea . Total bill RM27! Crazy expensive and service was very very slow because I was seating alone, no one took my order

No wonder the crowd are at Ipoh chicken rice shop , cause their service proved it

First time here and my order was completely forgotten 5 tables after mine. They should have taken down notes for ordering, dun think I would be back for such service regardless of the taste.

Was a fan for years & this was my fav chicken rice shop .Went back here last week(June14), and saw all the workers have changed. Food is horrible now. Found out the previous owner had passed away. :(
