Great nightlife. Oddly still a family friendly atmosphere after dark. Everyone is nice, drinks were strong, clean bathrooms . Live music . Love the beach chairs in the sand but they are ALWAYS occupied!

Best food, their signature sauce is AMAZING. Great atmosphere, awesome service, beautiful ocean view . Best time to visit: during the annual Hangout Fest !!

Great food service and live music with loads of fun for families while you wait. henna tats and extensions for hair, bungee bounce and bubble machine. Have a unique drink and photo ops.

This place not only had great food but was so much fun! We ate here for lunch and played TV trivia with the DJ and the kids had a foam party and giant beach ball! Excellent and highly recommended!

Everyone complaining about the price must never eat out. Maybe a dollar or two more than Chili 's or whatever, but definitely worth it. Quick wait, great food, family fun!

We've been going here MULTIPLE times a year since they opened. Since they started that STUPID Hangout Fest though, it's gone downhill. They have turned my beloved zen beach into Panama City Beach .

Best place ever! The wait can sometimes be long but there's tons to do while you wait! They're super friendly and you're allowed to dance on the tables! Which is a plus for me! This place is a must!!!

Lots to do. It is like a carnival . Very loud , live band , lots of people. Games while you wait. No AC , but open breeze walls. Food is not too expensive . Park in grass lot across Beach st.

GREAT portions. GREAT food. Price was a little expensive , but you get what you pay for. Definitely a place to visit while here.

A great place to come for people with kids. All ages can find something to do and after a long day in the sun it is nice and easy.

Pre Paisley Party at the Hangout, the WES LOPER BAND 1:30 start time. Watch the concert and hang out inside the Hangout, live audio and video all night long. Cary Laine band 10pm until 2am!!

It's the 2nd week of August and the place was dead at lunchtime. Not much happening. Ice cream/sno-cone truck doesn't open until 4p. Skip the handmade Rita. Nice server. The zoo animals were fun.

Come here for the ambiance and that alone. If you're here for the food you're either drunk or high. Consistently the absolute worst food in Gulf Shores.

Awesome place, it's always busy and crowded so expect to wait. Service at the bar wasn't great. I felt like the bartender was annoyed we ordered from the menu.

The shrimp basket was very good! I got more shrimp than I thought I would get!

The fish tacos and the dog show are great! Crab legs were overcooked!!! Great atmosphere!!

awesome atmosphere and bartenders but we waited over 1.5 hours for a table and 1.5 hours for appetizers .

Expect a long wait at night, especially on the weekends! GF items are limited, but exist and are clearly marked!

The burger is pretty good. Atmosphere is the best quality. Closes too early.

Unbelievably expensive , but on the plus side they give you huge portions . Absolutely a tourist trap, but not as bad as some and your kids will have a lot of fun.

Great drinks and right on the beach

Over priced for quality of food and drink. A lot of the seafood is frozen coming from who knows where and the alcoholic drinks are made with well or lesser quality spirits. Headaches and bowel issues

Prices here are high compared to better restaurants in the area. Bacon egg cheeseburger was good. Glad did not have to wait in line to see a band etc
