I love virgin lounge , yes it's better then Qantas launch and yes I know as I am still Gold FF! Highly recommended. Friendly staff who is always trying to help you which is again better then the other

I might be a little biased but my Husband Daniel makes the best coffees ! He's there M-Sat 5am-1pm. If you can, get him to make your coffee . He is really good at what he does :)

Sydney train sysytem is almost always a faster trip to the city than bus or taxi . If you catch the train walk upstairs to the checkin and go outside and up the ramp to the platinum entry.

Virgin Lounge 's are pale shadow in comparison to their competition's. That, and the recent changes to Velocity scheme for frequent flyers, means less time spent the VA lounge and more in the Q lounge .

Of you have a long layover, sleep on the lounges right down the back past the bar . Also ask for a half strength coffee as the baristas must like their lattes strong!

Very nicely appointed and comfortable lounge and the staff are so welcoming and friendly . Great barista too.

They've renovated and removed stools at the windows. If you want a view either stand or try the 4 seats upstairs *if* it is open, which is never.

Air New Zealand airpoints and Koru, you get lounge access here, but remember to bring yr card with u, as they don't have a ticket scanner.. Otherwise very cool

Coffee is great but it’s so busy on a weekday afternoon it is almost claustrophobic

Seeing that you've checked in at The Lounge . Take the opportunity to use the power outlets provided to charge up your mobile devices while you sip an ice cold Corona.

Tip if upstairs open is quieter . However not all good option available but you can always bring it up

These particular chairs are easiest to sleep upright on. Lots of them upstairs

If you want casual entry to this lounge then buy your pass online before you enter. Doing this will save you $10.

Check out the new upstairs extension to the lounge . Turn right at the check in desk and head upstairs.

Use the new Lounge Checkin and bypass the queues. Walk past the normal entry point at T2 and there is an external entrance to the lounge !

If you need to use the toilet , head to the showers behind the bar . They are always clean because hardly anyone uses the showers when travelling domestic. ;-)

Try the Barista made coffee or get a takeaway cup!

Great escape from the barn house that SYD T2 can be, upstairs open on a weekend would be nice though

New security check at the VIP parking is a bit over the top! What's going on guys?

Great food and was very relaxing , wine was very good and staff are friendly .

Try the new upstairs lounge , just past concierge on the right it's typically less busy!

Use the premium valet and entry form the curbside and avoid the main terminal. Virgin have their own security there as well .

Order the Latte's 2 at a time - they are lovely

Hot food choices are meagre at best.

The passengers here are more upbeat than the jaded- up themselves clowns in the Qantas club. More seats too!

Sit at the windows for one of the best runway views at the airport .

In the lounge , they call the flights very very late. I'd you rely on the in lounge announcements you will be rushing to get to the gate, and they may be calling for you by name !!

Not a bad lounge for domestic flights . Not in the same league as Singapore Airline First / Business Class Lounge .

Checking in through the premium entry makes Velocity Gold status very worthwhile.

The over enthusiastic table clearing drives me crazy. You go to the bar to get a drink and they clear the plate of food you hadn't finished eating
