From Barrymores to Hepburns , some of the greatest actors in history have graced the stage. It also currently operates the original rope, pulley, and sandbag system that was used nearly 2 centuries ago

Not a bad seat in the house.

Have plans to see "The Prescott Method " at the Independence Studio? Be sure to come hungry because you'll leave full literally and figuratively! Best of all, this play is written by a Philadelphian!

Mike A.

A very nice experience. The seats are a little tight for a person as tall as me but I had an aisle seat this time curtesy of my wife and that helped.

Great shows here but they keep it a bit warm. If you're prone to falling asleep in womb-like temps drink some coffee before-hand.

Laura Thompson

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.

Donald Samburg

From tap to rocketts style dancing . Outstanding singers young and old. I loved it.

Phillip Warner Sr

Try to get floor seats if you can but there are good views from just about anywhere in the theatre .

Wendy Gerber

The shows are top quality. I've enjoyed every show I've seen.

Don't forget to check out shows in the Studio 3 and Studio 5 spaces!

Natasha Estremera

Eh...I wasn't too impressed with "In The Heights " and even less impressed with the tight and warm theater itself.

Come see 39 Steps. Very funny! The two clowns alone are worth the ticket price.
