Great place to do some work and knock back a few beers . Gets a bit louder after 5 though. But then you can just stop working and start drinking more :)
Surprised the rating is so low - perhaps when packed it's a different experience... but multiple food options have been solid & the beer is great. Lots of different areas as well , for different vibes.
Cocktails , outdoor terrace . Something for everyone and amazing space. Go here. Recently done up and looks nice
Rump steak is average for the price. Potatoes were luke warm. However the Portland Grazing Plate was a great starter. Good size parmagana aswell. Beers were awesome obviously.
Trivia night is monday! Large selection of beers ciders and a hearty choice of food. Street seating.
Love this pub , beer is awesome and the grub is pretty good too. Always stop in here when I'm in Melbourne
Sun Down smell snd taste of toilet water (or what I imagine toilet water would taste like). The halfblood is very good and most of the other beers are also worth a go. 15 $ tasting paddle .
Parma, fried chicken and beers on tap ! Spacious and great vibe.
Man United Fan Bar , great selections of various crafted beverages.????????????????
Awesome little brewery in the heart of the CBD. Great service.
Tasting paddles are good...upstairs is great for fresh air
@geoff S. The restriction is a local council by-law. We have no control over it. We would have them out there all night if we could. Thanks for the feedback
The beer selection is awesome...the burger was so so
The Chaser came recommended. Not a bad drop for a summer's evening. Cheers!
Happy hour (4-6pm) $7 pints of craft beers and ciders
Live music and the atmosphere was great!
Pork belly is really good
Plenty of room and good beers
Love the sampler!
Try the tasting paddles , good overview of their brews!
The Four Wives pilsner is worth every penny
This place used to be a strip club . There's a stripper pole and "massage room" upstairs.
Kangaroo Burger 's great... the meat's really soft!
Get the Sampler Paddle if you can't decide what to get.
Try their Orchard Fresh apple cider .
Can't sit and drink on their own outside tables after 10.30 or some such. Sort it out.
can't go wrong with the original amber ale and the beer battered fish n' chips (unless your name is R. Postill)
The Craic is great if you like that sort of thing. The porter is on special this week
Very trendy place
If youre looking for some laughs theres mprovised comedy is upstairs here on Friday night!
Happy Hour .
Best chips ever. Ev.er.
On my second craic ... This stuff is awesome. It'll put hair on your chest :)
Portland light ale was brilliant, the american spectacular is too dry
Gentlemen, the parmigiana has bacon . BACON .
The Portland Pale Ale is delicious!
If you're hungry try the big Parma. It's bloody huge!!
Make sure your 100% clear on what you order other wise you'll end up with chat potatoes
Pale Ale , Porter
The mad brewers scribble gum lager is amazing.... Yummmmy
Oktoberbrau is awesome. Burger hasn't arrived yet.
catch a gig when the comedy festival is on
Loud and obnoxious. Rude patrons. Overpriced, sub-par food in tiny portions. I love James Squire ales , but seriously, never again.
I mean scribbly lager ---- god damn predictive text.... Any way you'll love it...
A bad place where you can't get in unless you're Dutch
The beer is great, but stay away from the “Craic ” stout — awful stuff.
Rude staff . Especially the brunette with the tat on her lower arm. Also noisy . Good selection of beers though.
Look behind you!
ok, we had lunch here and the beer was fine, damned fine. The burger was ok. Claire was lovely.
Love
Definitely worth a visit. Great atmosphere and music! It's another themed bar... but I won't spoil it for you. I love this place but you can bet there's a long line after 10pm on a Fri or Sat night. - Nat
Had the beef ribs three times, fantastic. Good beers and friendly service too - Marc Bell
Love the decor, cocktails and funky staff! Must do when you are in Melbourne. Reasonable prices as well for a rooftop bar. - Yondering Monkeys
An amazing venue, the roof is just surreal. Well worth a visit, no matter what's on. - Tom Websalad
One of the best venues in Melbourne. Great space and decor, plenty of space to stand or sit and you can feel a bit of history inside. - Pedro Merces
