Cape May Diamonds are fun to search for at the water's edge with a shovel , bucket, and sifter. Many beautiful colours. Lovely gift shop and wonderful patriotic sunset flag ceremony !

Really beautiful, quiet beach . Has a small eatery on site for burgers etc. would be perfect for kite flying and long walks. Beach has a lot of stones & "diamonds" though so bring appropriate footwear.

FLAG LOWERING CEREMONY IS NICE AT SUNSET , ALSO THE SHOPS AT SUNSET BEACH ARE LOVELY, BE SURE TO VISIT BEFORE THE SUNKEN SHIP DISAPPEARS FOREVER.

Dig for Cape May Diamonds , beautiful place to go in the evening to watch the sunset , but get there early, it gets very crowded !

I've been coming to SB since I was months old! The flag ceremony is nice. Nice to come during the day though to avoid the crowds. Great place for dolphin sightings as well .

Great view of the sunset and the small waves are great for small kids who want to play in the water, but not get knocked over.

Even if it's not so sunny out, I like walking on the beach looking for sea glass and diamonds.
