Maxim on toiminut yhtäjaksoisesti samassa osoitteessa jo v.1909 ja on näin ollen Suomen vanhin elokuvateatteri.Alkuperäisen salin suunnitteli arkkitehti David Frölander-Ulf ja se avattiin Olympia-nimisenä,mutta vaihtoi nimensä myöh.Piccadillyksi.1930-luvulta läht. teatteri on toiminut Maxim nimellä

The best place to see films in Helsinki. Maxim 1 with big screen and cosy balcony and Maxim 2 with exceptional decor from 1909. Not to be missed!
