Der Senefelderplatz am Rande des Kollwitzkiezes gelegen, entstand im 19. Jh. als städtischer Platz inmitten neuer Wohnstraßen. Er hat die Form eines nach Süden gerichteten spitzen Dreiecks. 1892 wurde das Denkmal für Alois Senefelder am südlichen Platzende aufgestellt.
