Good food, reasonably priced, better than Wetherspoons
Food bit disappointing, though from outside menu looked home cooked but pie was obviously micro waved, chips very hot and gravy watery. So would not eat here again. However IPA is a nice pint
Massive portions . Nice outside seating . Bones in my fish ...could have just been unlucky though.

heaving on a Saturday night and really not my scene. Although, i love varsity any other time. it has cheap drink offers and good food. Get a varsity card for a pound for even cheaper beverages. - Amber Louise Skeldon
Quality real ales and a lot of seating. Very good atmosphere and outdoor seating which is great in the summer looking over the lake. Always busy when I've been in and food is of a good standard. - Hedley Goddard
