The museum has a magnificent collection of modern art paintings , sculptures snd installations. Absolutely worth seeing if you are staying for a couple of days in Milan. Take an audio guide (5 €) ????
The museum has a very contemporary allure, great Modigliani paintings and interesting pieces of sculpture ! A must see in Milan! Fantastic view on Piazza del Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele
Great view from the hall. Worth if you are interested in the novecento movement. One of the 'art ' pieces on the uppermost floor gave me a bit of shock????
If you're not turned on by programmed/kinetic art/Kandinsky/Italian futurists, you don't belong here. Hmm, unless you came here to marvel at Piazza del Duomo and the stunning view of the Cathedral ????
If you are between 18/26, it is free entrance. Absolutely worth it: Picasso, Boccioni, Pellizza da Volpedo, Fontana , Carrà, Matisse, Kandinsky and other artists in a very nice environment! Approved!
You should consider to spend more than two hours to truly appreciate everything this museum has to offer. Take the map to be sure you won't miss some rooms. Open Thurs+Sat 9.30-22.30, nice night view .
Great modern art museum ! It's located in the Piazza del Duomo and has views of the duomo and Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II
Amazing lounge upstairs, sit down on a designer chair and enjoy the view of Duomo di Milano, Piazza del Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle.
Nice collection and very well presented through the architecture of the building! Perfect view of the duomo and my beloved kandinsky of course
A relatively small museum of 20 century art from Milan, takes about an hour to slowly walk through. Nice change from all the Renaissance museums around.
Start early and take your time. Lots to get through. Some wonderful, interesting, intriguing and good stuff
Cool panoramic view of the Piazza del Duomo from the top floor. Interesting and varied collections of art , mostly Italian artists .
Amazing views and paintings . Free ticket every other Wednesday
The place that every one interested in artistry should see. You can have a nice view of Duomo from here.
Only in italy you'll get free to see Picasso's work and pay to see a redundant 16th century artwork. Lovely design and art
Great photo op of the Duomo from top floor. Nice , upscale restaurant too, with a terrific view .
At the time being, nice Warhol Stardust exibition. Interesting building & amazing view from the terrace .
It was plain boring and I usually like art museums ! Not worth the 5€! The best thing is the view on the piazza del duomo from upstairs!
The building was constructed between 1939 and 1956. From 2007 to 2010 it was undergoing refurbishing and restructuring and now it has become the Museo del Novecento http://tinyurl.com/8jknq8t
Don't miss this both for its collection and for the temporary displays - and for the incredible view on Piazza Duomo!
It has interesting pieces of art but most of them are from italian artists . The audioguide is a bit of a mess, it's not well organized and you get lost most of the time.
400 selected works of 20th century Italian art belonging to the Civic Art Collections of the City of Milan. http://tinyurl.com/c243f6n
Nature has been a constant source of inspiration for many artists of the XX°century...and so it will be for us.
Amazing tour through 20th century Italian art
pleasant view of the duomo from the terrace . complicated path to see the artworks, boring light design and poor texts.
Stop here to get an insight of italian art and design from the 19th century. It's a must stop! Read more
Recommend to visit it! It's quite impressive
every day the last entrance is free (starting from 2 hours before closing)
beautiful architecture , poor curation. Disorganized and snob shows.
