Masa Sushi & Grill

Favorite sushi restaurant in NY metro area. They have great seasonal specials . I always get the chirashi . The place is BYOB with a liquor store right next door.

This is authentic , down-to-earth Japanese cuisine of the sort that I have learned not to expect anywhere outside of Japan.

Very good. There aren't many sushi places in the region which inspire, but this one invokes hints of real Japanese...

Order the specials. No matter what they are. Consistently good and you won't find it anywhere else.

Omakasae.....do it. Means "I'll leave it up to you". Sit at the bar and watch the magic happen.

Don't order unadon anymore. After being a patron for over a year, they increased its price ($18 for lunch !) only to also reduce the amount of unagi by 25%!
