Venice Canals is a canal Venice located in United States.
Dell Ave (at Howland Canal) Venice , CA 90291 United States
Fantastic for a walk, you may see things like a bluegrass music garden rehearsal. Get a bike and don't hesitate to go to the Marina . Venice beach is a must see, but could do with a cleanup.
Worth a visit for a short stroll if your in the area... Would be cool to own one of these one day! Relaxed feel about the houses and on a sunny day it's a great visit to break up the crazy beaches
Man-made canals built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney as part of his Venice of America plan. Before 1929 the area was approximately three to four times as large as today. Perfect for a stroll or run
Such an inspiring peaceful spot near (and in contrast to) noisy and messy Venice beach . ???????? I love walking around, observing cute houses on cute canals streets, and dreaming of moving here one day ????
The light changes daily. Sometimes foggy, mostly sunny. Great sunsets from the eastern side. There is a boat parade each December. Lots of cameras - tourists , professionals & the occasional film crew.
For sure the nicest place with house of the entirely Los Angeles. I need to confess that I leaved this place if a big desire to buy a house there! Just amazing.
What a great place!! Nice view ,cute homes, and quite. You'll find yourself walking for hours. A must visit in the area!
Disarmingly lovely and placid neighborhood in the midst of wild Venice. The houses and the interconnecting canals they perch on were built in 1905. Many residents have boats moored out front.
Cute area with cool unique homes to look at..kinda feel like a peeping Tom, being able to see into ppl homes
After walking by the homes, beachfront and restaurants follow the canals to the Ballona Wetlands. Restoration efforts continue to pay off .
It’s a lovely place to talk a walk. The canals are public access but most of the docks are privately owned.
Great place for a walk or run, just watch out for dog poop that didn't get picked up. Also a nesting area for ducks during the spring and summer months .
My college friend & I used to grab Jamaican food , drive over to the Canals , & sit on one of the bridges as we talked and bonded. Come to think of it... This would make a great date!
Visit early in the morning for sunrise or a foggy vista. Added bonus: no crowds.
Straight out of a storybook. Its absolutely beautiful; the canals are framed with cute houses on either sides, and bridges decorated in little lights.
Great architecture and feel. It's like a little, gorgeous hideaway from the noise and people of Venice. There are lots of people walking dogs though...
One of the most distinct places in LA, and also one of the best to stroll for a few hours. The houses' architecture is fascinating. Beware of marauding flocks of geese. They will snarl at you.
Awesome place for an evening walk. A definite must-do at Christmas time - The bridges are decorated.
historic district modeled after Venice, Italy. dedicated community of young people, artistic decorators, and 420 advocates
A hidden gem . Some very cool little houses to check out.
Incredibly beautiful place to see. Lucky ppl living there :)
Walk the canals just after sunset . It's a different place! You can hear people enjoying wine and laughter. I know it sounds a bit cheezy but it's worth doing.
Very quite and scenic . Worth the time to visit a iconic place
Very cute and cozy neighborhood with amazing houses.
Beautiful place for a promenade. It's a quiet and peaceful oasis. Love this place!
It is hard to really see the lights unless you walk. you can drive but there is only one road , which is a one way.
Nice view and you will find some awesome houses along the canal
Not only is this a romantic walking destination, but it's one of LA's best running paths as well . Catch the sunset at the beach and you're guaranteed another date.
Beautiful to see if you’re visiting the area. Nice to walk around and take pics.
Cool place to take photos in, but u can’t ride the small boats. Not worth visiting.
Get my sister to give you an architectural tour of the canals . Amazing place to spend an afternoon in Venice.
Beautiful setting. I would love to live here!!
Everyone stops to take pictures at the first one. There are like 4. Keep walking to get an unencumbered view
Spectacular views ! Nice place to walk around and take great pics
Love how every house is wildly different to the next. Best viewed at night.

Beautiful Venice!! It made me dream of another world for a day!!
Hidden treasure ! Such a fun place to stroll
The view is nice, but doesn‘t remind me at all of europe ;) But still nice here
Great place with a beautiful view
Beautiful, worth finding a parking space and walk ???? along the canals

Super beautiful setting. Got engaged here and 10 years later took the kiddos.
These real canals date from 1905 when tobacco millionaire Abbot Kinney (yes, as in the street) dug them as part of a vast resort town he modeled after Venice, Italy. Read more
Interesting neighborhood design based on their European inspiration.
