Have to check out the papyrus store! So cute . Cards and gifts galore and the most upbeat staff ! Also a must do is the Japanese food place underneath the international market place! Amazing food!
Ruined a GREAT Waikiki market . Threw out all the Mom and Pop vendors and, brought Huge Retailers ! Just what Waikiki needs another shopping Mall ! HA! They had to build around the historic Banyans!
There are still "Coming soon" stores as of November 2016, they may be a half of this place. Please check events at the center stage, and enjoy the show. It might starts around 6:30pm.
I miss the old marketplace . The renovated one has many high end / brand name stores but it lacks the local appeal the previous one with the rows of kiosks had .
Miss the old kitch of the old market ... lots of high end stores and eateries . good parking facility and you get validated parking for 2 hours. nicely designed however, nice Hawaiian sense of place.
Old school bazaar and one of our favorites. Kids love to shop for trinkets in the slightly piratical atmosphere, parents love that the trinkets only cost a few bucks, everyone enjoys the food court .
Great seating on top floor if you are tired :)
Biggest 180 degree transformation I have ever seen. Went from a collection of ramshackle dodgy vendors to an upscale shopping center. Definitely loses some of the character of the original place.
Bautista's Filipino Kitchen is awesome ! Tiki Town , Tree House Cafe and Lava Rock Lounge (walk down the stairs) - 3 bars that people can go to, to chillax .
What a shame. This place was a cool little market selling locally made stuff in small shops and outdoor stands. Sure some was cheesy but now it's just another damn mall with no local flavor at all.
Wonderful open air mall , but mainly lots of chain stores
These decorative laps are actually charging stations. Has outlets and USB ports . Refuel your phone.
Free parking November 24-25 for four hours with a $10 purchase
Beautiful market !!! The decoration for Christmas ???? is awesome!!!
Loved it! Great for shopping but also really cool performances !
Centrally located market in Waikiki where you can get the typical tourist junk and the usual souvenirs . Read more
Loved how they preserved a huge banyan tree and built the mall around it
Will be shutting down for good end if month? All vendors having killer deals!
Island gift shop , $1 flower hair clips and great prices, no haggling allowed here, but it's not needed. Near the christmas shop , around the corner from the "lucky shop"
most good looking mall ever. go there to look at the trees .
Hand made tikis loved them they will even personalize
The Soul is gone. Any other upscale mall .
Cheapest place to buy souvenirs and gifts . For best Hawaiian clothing , visit Tina at Tropical Collection near back; she offers the best prices and not pushy.
Free parking for 1st hour with $10+ purchase from within mall
Thursday night from 5 to 8 is farmers market . Good local food pastries fruit and veggies !
Best shopping center in the area.
This place is cool... it is like it just goes on forever. It has a lot of cool things.
Higher-end international open air shopping mall .
Pricing better than ABC stores & some vendors willing to bargain!
Look out for the performances at sunset
Clean bathrooms , good wifi
Try the Pineapple Dole Whip - Cool and refreshing!
So different that what I remember from the 80’s and 90’s
Go straight in from Walina
Pushy vendors ... but I suppose you just have to know how to deal with it! Definitely haggle the price.
Tiki burger is new an has great jalapeño burgers !
They have the famous Dole Whip here! (all natural pineapple ice cream )
quick last minute souvenirs . each place has cheaper and different pricing. sometime the ABC store down by the Atlantis restaurant has cheaper things, such as shot glasses.
Thursdays, 6-8pm, there is a Farmer's Market setup with local vendors . Get a taste of Hawaii not really found in Waikiki!

Look for the surfboard with the background scene way in the back for a funny photo op.
Go Nuts Surf shop, good prices on Plenty used shortboards. Next to Dennys/across from Fattys
If th price of street art is an honest donation..stick with a responsible amount
Try an negotiate with the market people they may drop the price a little bit...
lots of cheap junk, some fun jewelry . don't buy anything without haggling first!
Fish and chips and all the shaved ice
Try the waterball...u get to walk and run on water
Great selection of fresh local fruit !!
This is a nice place 2 go 2 and go shopping in Hawaii.
Great coffee, even better flakey baked goods. During prime morning hours there will be a long queue! - Mirek Nowak
Small Mitsuwa but has a whole heap of fresh, ready made foods and snacks. - JH H-D
The smoked pork belly and eggs was way better than anything I could have possibly imagined. - Dave Mac
Live music in the grove. I've seen jazz and Hawaiian. H&M is across the street. Indoor-outdoor setup takes advantage of the great weather. Great seating and views. - Cayla Echols
Amazing assortment of high end shops and the generals. Highly recommend a trip here if even just for the walking. - Matthew Reichardt
