One of my top ramen spots in the area. Grab a Kirin or Sapporo and relax after work or a day out. One thing...place tends to get busy at peak hours and no reservations taken....just FYI.
I would always add a little bit of spicy miso into my soup stock. Don't get me wrong though, Hakata ramen is already super yummy on its own but with spicy miso , it becomes super duper awesome!
Love sitting at the bar and seeing the cook make the ramen . During lunch the D set is my favorite. Soft noodles with normal soup oil and soup base. Make sure to get extra cha-shu pork & spicy miso ! :)
In addition to my previous tip, the new topping items they added are a MUST! Definitely try the Miso Garlic Butter and the Green Chile Bomb!! Literally BOMB! Still recommend the Spicy Miso . Enjoy!
One of the best ramen in the LA area. Lines can get long, but it's worth it.
Love love love the broth at this Ramen noodle house . I always get the regular noodle , regular oil, and add spinach and corn !
Delicious ramen base, highly customizable. Best to go in a small group since add ons can get pricey .
One of the best ramen places . Not a big spot so either come early or later. Dinner combo E is great, share it w/someone, it's a lot!
I still prefer Yamadaya or Santouka ramen to Shinsengumi, but they still serve a solid bowl of ramen ! Plus, spam musubi !!
Delicious, affordable , huge portions , authentic Japanese ramen ! A must if you are in Gardena.
Write down your order on the little order sheets provided while you wait for your table. Also, your wait will be shorter than you think.
Spicy Miso ramen is amazing, hands down favourite ramen place in the area!
Obviously you will get the ramen here. I will usually take the combo of ramen and fried rice . I also love the spam rice here too. It is only available during lunch .
Add spicy miso and garlic miso butter to your ramen and you'll surely be ordering extra noodles ! :p
You need to add Spicy Miso to make your ramen 10x better. Medium soup base and heavy oil makes the soup taste much better. Lunch special A-set is my favorite.
Miso in ramen is great. I always get spinach and egg in it.
Some of the best ramen around. Much bigger than the Costa Mesa location.
This is one of my favorite ramen spots. I always add beansprouts, and ask for medium noodles , medium broth strength, and light oil .
The soup was great and they have a good service , very friendly staff .
Spicy miso add-on is a must!
Don't go crazy on side dishes. You can always order kaedama (extra noodles ) for 95¢ after you're done with your noodles . Be sure to leave save some soup .
want to make it hot & spicy Ramen ... Get the extra tipping green chili butter bomb
Soft noodles , strong broth, light oil , and extra chashu !
Make sure everyone comes on time. They don't seat you until your whole party is present.
It opens on holidays and ramen and gyozas are always the best meal you could ever had!
Great lunch specials !
Make sure you're aware of where your name falls on the list. We got skipped!
Come at 6 when the place opens for dinner to avoid the wait!
The menu confused me when I first came, but just know that sets are optional combinations of ramen with sides. Otherwise, just write "ramen ".
Holy cow is this a killer bowl of ramen !
Customize your ramen ! Second best ramen restaurant in my opinion behind Santouka .
Ramen , great service and hospitality
if you ask for extra noodles ...they tend to be chewier, so ask for a softer texture than the first batch.
Good service and yummy pork ramen soup

Come here before 6pm on a Sunday and there is no wait!
Noodles was alright. It was bit on the thinner side. However, the soup was awesome w the addition of spicy miso . You gotta get the spicy miso !!!
Surprised that someone think the ramen here is "offensive" as in not authentic . Completely and utterly disagree. One of the best.
Spicy miso Ramen !
The #1 ramen place in L.A.
Best ramen yet....will be back.

The best ramen in L.A.
You can join waitlist in Yelp.
Get the Nanban Karaage over the regular karate. It is way juicier and more tasty IMHO
Now with MORE bacon
One of the best ramen in town !
Great food and atmosphere
For nice and toothy noodles , order them "bari katta"
Always get the Nanban Karage !
The tonkotsu (spicy miso) ramen is good, especially with thin noodles. I would recommend ordering level 4 spiciness as level 2 is mild. - Kelley L.
This is one of my two favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the area. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. - Matthew Gold
The Target lines get pretty long on weekends and in the evenings. Also Starbucks can take a while. - Rain Fairy
I love the milk slush with brown sugar, pudding and boba :) - Eva Aguilar
The slushes are delicious, and I always love trying new milk teas! Their boba is also yummier than some other places. :) - Glafira Elena Carr
