Hard Eight BBQ

Tried the brisket and the sausages bcos it is my first time and they were pretty good. The brisket was cut and then mashed before serving. I didn't know if it was a good or bad thing, but I liked it.

The line is so big that when you finally sit to eat, the beer is warm and the brisket is cold. It's still good, but not excellent. The best here is their jalapeño cream corn . The brisket was good too!

Cornbread Salad , Brisket , Chicken , and Roasted Corn . Brisket was great, Chicken was pretty dry but atmosphere is amazing

I had a quarter pound brisket , one rib , and sausages . All the meats were very good. The brisket was awesome. Very succulent. I'll be back soon.

Some of the best BBQ I’ve had. I got brisket , jalapeño sausage and shrimp poppers . It was all good but the shrimp poppers were the best. It’s comparable to Hutchins but cost a bit less.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. We tried a little bit of it all and loved it. Be prepared to stand in line if you don't get there early. But it is worth the wait.

You can smell this BBQ from the highway, seriously! Authentic Texas BBQ cooked right in front of you, you actually walk past the smokers while ordering. Be sure you don't skimp on the side dishes!

I tried the one in Roanoke about a year ago and wasn't impressed.. must've been the end of the shift and meat was a little dry. This new Hard 8 was perfect! Loved it!

I hate to burst all the little Texan hearts, but NYC has far better BBQ places . Try the beef brisket , ribs , and Mac n’ Cheese at Mighty Quinn’s if you ever go on a trip to NYC.

Rib eye , Turkey , chicken and shrimp poppers are all good. Brisket is hit or miss. Ribs are a bit dry. The jalapeno cream corn is to die for.

Fave: sausage , ribs , fatty brisket , fried okra ; Skip: roasted corn , onion rings

Brisket , sausage and ribs was good, shrimp poppers not so much. Very smoky environment. Cool to have beverages available soon as you get in line .

Can't recommend enough! From the brisket and ribs , to the sirloin and sides. Free all-you-can-eat beans!

Loaded Brisket Potato was Amazing! Cool bar inside and staff is super friendly ! Side note-No public wifi .

Brisket is among the best and they have plenty of options for other stuff. Great atmosphere too.

I ate around 2 pounds of food when it was all said and done. Food is excellent but be sure not to overeat like I did????

This location is better than the others. Brisket is alway perfect and the jalapeño cream corn is amazing.

Great BBQ . Order smoked meat by the pound, served up on trays, buffet style serving.

Meant to leave a tip earlier, but I just came out a meat coma! I think the bologna juice I.V. did the trick - no tellin' what's in that stuff but it ain't meat

They have a full service bar available and several walk up bars open on busy nights.

Very smokey atmosphere. Great meat. Good pork . They charge meat by the pound. Live Music . Average sides.

I'm gonna grab somethin with my fork and take off running like someone slapped my Nikes and called me Smokey!!!

The waitresses will take your cocktail order once you sit at your table.

Average Brisket : on the dry side, needed a dip in sauce.Ribs were better: I just wasn’t a fan of the herb-y rub I tasted.Bacon wrapped shrimp : not bad.

Brisket was the good, steak was not bad but not best I have had, very pricey , for money I could have gone to nice steakhouse and been served!

chaotic & confusing & uncomfortable for the money the accommodations (tables, ease of getting food, process picking sides) were a pain in the butt! loud , cafeteria style , at a table with other people

Rib eye steak and brisket mouthwatering deliciousness.

Smoked meat is very good, but I am not a fan of their BBQ sauce . I like Spring Creek better.
