Xinjiang style handmade sheet jelly was pretty good. The sour-spicy flavour was refreshing (and improved with vinegar). It came with soy bits & shredded purple cabbage & carrot garnish .
XJ BBQ lamb & crispy beef good: good quality meat, tasty cumin . Taro biscuit warm & somewhat flaky, tasted OK. Good for a small dessert (other desserts were bigger) though it was listed under dimsum .
XJ noodle in tomato soup : cut up noodle bits not noodles . Flavour lighter than expected (even compared to other dishes) but still pretty good. A lot of oyster mushroom (not common), which was nice.
Membership costs $20 for 2 years and gets you a discount on dishes. If you are going to return or you're in a big group (maybe 4 or more), it might be worth getting.
This Xinjiang restaurant (literally the name) seems run by Han Chinese not Uighers. Flavours are lighter than at other Xiniang place (whether this is good is personal preference) but is still good.
Pretty decent place. Lamb skewers , dapanji always dope.
Lamb/wing/tendon skewers , hand pulled noodles , dumplings , green onion pancakes
Order: Da Pang Ji & lamb skewers . Service is nice if you speak mandarin
Tell them it's your birthday and you get a free bowl of noodles ! :)
Fresh homemade noodles and beef skewers , wow!
I really like the spicy fried rice here - light yet flavourful. Great value !
Try western-china style chicken & vegi in a ternine
Racist: Food is great but were disappointed in service. We (caucasians) had our chopsticks taken away and replaced with forks upon arrival. Requested them back, given takeout kind. Unimpressed.
Always order spicy lamb skewers as a starter/side-dish!
Expensive and the food is not good....
:-( food and service is terrible
Never. Ever. Get fried rice as a side. It's so plain! - Allen Tang
The BEST place for shanghai food. Amazing value and tastes great! Seating area is a little cramped but for this quality of food, who cares! - Amanda Yee
Hands down The Best milk foam drinks you can get in Toronto. The foam is thick and the perfect amount of savory. Goes well with any kind of green tea or wintermelon tea. - David Lin
The chicken kebabs and the langman noodles with chicken were both fantastic! - Anil Wijesooriya
Roast duck def a must try (get the 2.99 add-on of soup or deep fry bones)! Also recommend the pan fried pancakes with stuffing & peking style steamed tofu (half price special). - Jessica
Hannah chicken (steam chicken with 2 different ginger sauce and special rice) is a must try. HK style milk tea is excellent. Service is fast and good. - Alfred

Free popcorn and it keeps coming! Cozy and cute. Great place to hang with friends. Bubble tea is amazing, so are the fries and shrimp! - Shania Mahendran
