Long counter downstairs, tatami seating upstairs. Entirely smoke-free which is great for families. Be prepared to read japanese only menu on the wall. Not sure? Order the jou-rousu or hire-katsu. - Reese W

Quite small & can be busy at lunch. This is my go-to tonkatsu restaurant in Tokyo. Excellent portions, price, and service. The famous Tonki is nearby, but charges 2x for nearly the same thing. - Kyle Karthauser
