The best restaurant in Berlin, period. There are so many good restaurants in Berlin, but if you have to choose one...go here ????????????????????

All local food with a menu changing daily. All the meat is brilliantly cooked and the deserts fair exceeded our high expectations (the cheesecake was the best I've ever had). Highly recommend.

The food was really good (fresh ingredients make a big difference). The service is terrific and the venue is nice. English menu would help tourists . Not on the cheap side, but worth the money.

Just try anything in the daily menu . You will not be disappointed. Every dish is specifically designed for pleasure on rich tasting palates. Must try and remember to make reservations !

Food and vibe is good. Service was messy and unfocused but really friendly and charming. Co-patrons had meat dishes, they were happy, had vegetarian dish made vegan , was great. Good, simple wines .

The star of the show was the cod . So fresh and flaky! It just fell right apart . You have to order it. Everything else I had was very good too!

To everyone who doesn't like German food . Go here, it's incredibly good German food . Can't believe how much good and different taste you can get out of one little cauliflower piece. Definitely a must!

Good hearty food. Vegetables are usually al dente and possibly the best of the meal. Potato gratin side order also quite rich and perfect. Good wine selection . Reserve if you want to have dinner here

The fish , the venison and the cheese cake are delicious. The beef tartar is completely tasteless. The atmosphere is romantic and simple and the staff are very nice.

Everything we are was nice: tomato "salad ", spring chicken , wild boar , potato side dish! Everything was lovely!

Menu changes daily, all locally sourced ingredients. Take a recommendation from the server. Reservations necessary unless you can grab a spot at the bar (solo travelers)

If you don't speak German, reserve a table for before 7pm so that you can have one of the servers sit with you to translate the menu! Everything is good. Order all appetizers , & try the pigeon or pork

Great place, must visit when you are in Berlin for a holiday! Menu changes every week. Food is very fresh and the chef is very creative with his ingredients!! Very good price/quality.

Dined at Lokal... Lovely cosy restaurant ... Delicious food although we found their veg just a little bit too raw... We got their early as most tables are fully booked .

very fresh ingredients that taste amazing, especially the beet/lentil/Gouda salad ...the pasta and pork entrees are also fantastic...sit outside of you can to enjoy people watching

I liked the food and the service. Honestly much better than the other Michelin 2 starred restaurant i visited a week ago.

Quiet , upscale , but amazing food. Bartender said ingredients are locally sourced , from around Berlin. Lucked out with bar seating travelling solo, might need to make a reservation otherwise.

Lokal has excellent food. The oat and fennel rissoto, the trout and the venison were great! But the service was extremelly slow!!

They never got enough tables in summer (which is ok as you can take chairs and sit somewhere on the sidewalk). Very good bar / restaurant with gorgeous food and wine & a lovely atmosphere.

Off night? Same dish gone wrong twice and warm wine due to a broken fridge . Service dealt well with it though. Food was good, modern take on German cuisine with a lot of balance in different tastes

German feels like the wrong category. It's probably more New European/gourmet farm to table . Lots of fresh root vegetables and berries with a main protein. Cocktails p underwhelming. Get wine .
