Ladies! Make sure you have your sneakers on for the walk to these gates. It's not a fun walk with your suitcase.
Like others have said, it's a bit of a hike so have comfy shoes when trekking to this isolated part of T1. It's also a little dungeon-like.
Buy your snacks once you clear security before you head to the gate if you don't want anything from the Great Canadian Bagel .
Stop at Molsens its the last real place to eat and have drinks before the hike to the basement gates.
The only refreshment at this woebegone corner of the airport is great Canadian bagel . Get your quad latte macchiato before you begin your sojurn to gate 254
If you enjoy confined spaces with strangers. This is the gate for you.
Only thing to eat here is Great Canadian Bagel , pack a lunch if you plan on sticking around.
It is quite the walk, but the wifi is strong and lots of outlets available.
Pack comfortable shoes , these gates are a trek from security
They make you walk halfway back to the States !
Leave time for the long slog, but don't get here too soon. No seats and lots of jet fuel fumes.
Hope you enjoy walking! :P
It's ok by IAD A concourse standards... But this kind of blows
Formerly known as Gate 254
Be prepared to walk a good distance to get to your gate. There is a bagel shop and restrooms along the way. There is a light at the end, well more like locked doors. - Kevin T
These are the farthest gates from security and customs. Get snacks and magazines at the stand near duty-free before walking to these gates. There's only a bagel place in this area. - Laura B
