The place is great with desks to work before a flight + great lounge area . If you are not a member you can sneak in if you find a nice guy with club access who "invites" you as he can be accompanied!
Brand new and improved. One of the better United Clubs in the US.
M.R. falsely claimed there are multiple United Clubs at LAX. Totally false. There is just one United Club at LAX. It's quite large and near gate 71A. It was constructed a year ago & is very nice.
Remember: Star Alliance Gold gets free access, but only on same-day international flights. Otherwise must have membership or be traveling business/first.
It's the only United Club at LAX, and well worth the visit. Nice views from the large windows and helpful bartenders who know how to make strong cocktails .
Absolutely one of the better United Clubs in the system. Plenty of room and an above average food selection. Just up the escalator and to the right after security.
My favorite United Club. The outside-side seating is a nice change and the views are great all round
NY Times, LA Times and USA Today... real newspapers available from a rack near the snack area, all complimentary . Take your copy to read onboard!
Near gate 71. Step outside behind the bar for some great outdoor views of the United planes ✈️ ????
It’s clean and quiet , I also liked the outdoor seating area
Enough snacks to satisfy a vegetarian like me for lunch . If you're worried about wifi signal there are plenty of Ethernet plugs around.
Flyertalk members: don't forget to leave your mark at the board! Two immediate rights upon entering!
Wow. If you and your family (2 kids) fly United First domestically and you are Star Alliance Gold - they still only allow 1; the others get charged $59/person or no access. Customer experience fail.
If you have a long layover, it's worth purchasing a one time pass if you're not a premier member.
A variety of beers available on tap , but only two are gratis: Bud and Coor's Light.
Before complaining about the morning "bagels " and coffee , just remember-- you didn't come here for the food.
Slow (but free) WiFi with simple (but free) snacks and typical (but free) drinks. Tons of open power outlets along the windows on the floor.
Very polite receptionists . The family room is great.
Outdoor terrace and chef station made to order omelets .
Nice place to relax !
Careful of the lamp shades, they're made of glass! A guy knocked one over putting his bag down... Crash! Glass everywhere!
iPhone users, turn off your cellular network then try to connect to the WiFi . Solved my connection issues with T-mobile. You can turn it back on after connecting.
Don't miss the outdoor deck
Sprint 4G works here but it drops often in the club. 4G coverage is spotty throughout LAX, but 3G has 100% signal. T-Mobile wifi can be slow if its crowded in the lounge . 4G is better in ORD & IAD.
There's hot chocolate mix behind the bar . Just ask. Add steamed milk instead of water and it's soooooooo good! Have a safe flight!
Get the Wifi code at the front door on your way in. The internet speed was actually quite fast for me (1-3Mb/s). And grab a desk on the far left and right for a flat surface and plugs
Don't forget to actually bring your card, boardingpass with imprinting is not enough... First time, don't know if it's going to be house rules onwards...
Exceptional service
这里有网。 The only free WiFi available at this airport I found is at right here, outside of the club.
Very nice place, very good service .
Access is free for business class travelers headed to NYC
Beats waiting outside in the overcrowded terminal. Well worth the day pass (7k miles) if you aren't a member.
The idiots here swap the coffee and hot water jugs all the time. You get brown water out for your tea .
Free drinks! Hooray! If you tip well your drinks get 'better'...
I've had higher grade mouthwash than the "complimentary " stuff they pass out. Otherwise, it's not too bad as domestic lounges go.
The service for service members is amazing! Thank you United !
Pepperjack cheese is the best.
Don't trip on the bar chairs. They stick out in the back. Seen several people do it.
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.- geeks will get it!
perfect spot for the delays. thank goodness for free wifi and bathrooms :)
No password needed for their wifi .
Ok, they've done some desperate refurbishing, and it's an improvement. More outlets--thank you! Still could use a more aggressive cleaning staff , and more employees to help.
Use the "t-mobile" hotspot to connect to wifi with your membership number. iPads pop up a javascript dialog when connecting.
You sure run into some interesting folks at this club, be prepared
Check to make sure your laptop or phone is charging. Even though it's plugged in, NOT ALL the sockets in the club are live!!
Outlets near the bar are few and far between. Claim a plug before heading to the bar .
Very busy club. Always slammed!
For those folks connecting in terminal 8, it would be helpful to have signs directing travelers to the club.
Go for the Stag's Leap Artemus. It's what's for breakfast .
This just in: free well drinks is the new policy. Great benefit resulting from Continental merger.
