Franz Kafka's Head

Very unique monument . Great for some funny pictures as it is also a mirror! It's beautiful and deserves at least a quick visit.

Beautiful and original monument . In the shopping center near by you can find free internet and toilets in case you had too many beers ;)

You'll be moved. A giant head made of stainless steel. 252 construction parts moving in various directions forming the face of Franz Kafka. There are free toilets in the shopping mall nearby ;)

Such a pleasant way to start your day. Passing by my favorite sculpture on my way to work is one of the things I love in this city .

All parts change their location in many different ways on transverse axis at the and everything again get together completing the whole pieces ..it s really creative art that makes U think about .....

Sculpture by David Černý . The kinetic sculpture is 11 metres tall and made of 42 rotating panels . Each layer is mechanized and rotates individually.

I could watch this head for some peaceful minutes. Worth the visit and some fun restaurants in the area too.

Do not get mistaken. This eldritch sculpture actually depicts H. P. Lovecraft and was installed there by cool guys from Celestial Order of Dagon who run nearby seafood restaurant .

Such an interesting statue of Kafkas head. The choreography starts every hour and lasts 15’.
