My best advice: don't even look at the menu, just order the Blackberry French toast . Religious experience is the only way to describe it.
Best of '12: Short-rib bibimbap at Half & Half, 8135 Maryland Avenue, Clayton. Crunchy, fresh, salty, spicy , with a runny egg yolk on top. Just awesome. (Evan S. Benn) Read more
One of the best brunch places in St. Louis! The Veggie Hash or Eggs Benedict are go-tos.
My daughter LOVES the raspberry granola pancakes and I love the Eggs Benedict and perfectly cooked potatoes ! Definitely will go to this restaurant again.

Excellent coffee selection, Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich , and really, everything on the menu. Best breakfast place in St. Louis hands down.

Great tasting food with a really nice outside patio . Breakfast Fried Rice are amazing!!
This is one of the best breakfast spots in the city . 10 miles from downtown. Worth it!
The "37 ½" flavors are rich, warm and deserve to be served alongside a Thanksgiving feast! <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://bit.ly/19kQoEQ"target="_blank" data-sig="5zHbUBLpz1Lxy6fCMX7gTJXnmSw=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://bit.ly/19kQoEQ</a>
The coffee and brioche French toast was very good. The baked oatmeal was good but somehow I think it kept getting hotter!
Looking for an easy but healthy lunch option at Half and Half ? The Waldorf salad is great. Good size, delicious dressing and not too much for lunch .
Yum, everything is good here. Quick tip: use the NoWait app to get in line on weekends.
The Salmon Hash skillet is HIGHLY recommended! It was so delicious. The doughnuts were excellent and served beignet style. The Iced Toddy was also incredible
Favorites: blackberry French toast , veggie hash , donuts , hot Joseph cocktail . Service generally slow, so bring a smile and a good attitude.
get the bacon , egg & cheese cocktail (bourbon , mezcal , egg , maple , mascarpone , lemon )
They remodeled part of the dining room! It looks way better. Also the host is friendly and the service has improved! Floor is always slippery though, so be careful!
Blackberry French toast is soooooo good!!! Also order their Bloody Mary w-fried pickle on top. It's amazing!!!!!
Amazing coffee . Amazing breakfast . Love the churros . Go with friends. Try one of everything.
Second attempt; honestly from start to finish, FOH and BOH, each time was an epic failure. Word of advise, 86 the ISI canister emulsified hollandaise . There is no substitution for the real thing.
It's expensive but had a friendly bartender and the food was excellent
Hard to go wrong with brunch here. Especially if you have your BFF to dine with.
So many options, the worst thing is having to decide. Settled on doughnuts as first course. Very sugary and served warm.
Sometimes, there's a dessert pancake on the specials menu. It's never a bad choice!
Must go place in St. Louis!
I can't see why this place is rated so well everywhere. Usually an astronomical wait to get in and seated (1hr+). In the end, it wasn't worth the hype. Coffee was burnt, food was just okay, and pricey
Their eggs Benedict with avocado and chorizo where to die for
Some of the best brunch food in town but still need to get some help with managing front if house. A busy place needs a competent host.
This place is only open till 2pm weekdays, but I'm dying to try their fried egg sandwich . http://halfandhalfstl.com/menus
I LOVE the chicken livers . Be adventurous and try them.
veggie hash add chorizo ! steak & eggs ! weekend brunch specials ! handbrewed coffee ! be nice!
Get the Chorizo Eggs Benedict or the Steak & Eggs
Long waits on the weekends and you can't call ahead. Best brunch in Clayton though.
Service has gotten a lot better. The grilled chicken sandwich is excellent (avocado slaw is an ingenious idea)
Blackberry French toast is a blackberry-and-mascarpone sandwich that sums up everything that's right about Half & Half's approach. (Joe Bonwich) Read more
The veggie hash will change your life. So will anything on their brioche bun !
If you order plain pancakes , you'll get charged for the blueberry pancakes , so go ahead and order the blueberry .
Love the atmosphere. Hate the food. :( If you don't LOVE meat, play it safe and order pancakes . Fatty, smoky, dry.
Their brunch specials are excellent
Lemon-berry french toast . French toasts were irrelevant until I had these.
The best breakfast in st.louis
The Steak and eggs are out of this world... And the Hollandaise Sauce can save the world
Try the salmon hash . They have the best hollandaise in the land!
Eggs Benedict and Great fruit salad , no melons
I've been here three times and neither of them let me down!
$3 for a side of grits might be the best $3 we've ever spent...literally.
Getting better but bring patience -- and go for the blackberry French toast instead of the blueberry pancakes .
Anything with Hollandaise sauce is amazing. Especially Eggs Benedict .
Try the crimson tea and or the blue berry pancakes
