Ignore the old tips that are years old. Nice looking Slug inside, food is good and the drinks are cold. Staff could smile a bit more from time to time though.
What can I say? I came here for a work event . The food was okay-ish, but playing Venga Boys really loud in the background would ruin the most lavish dinner , let alone this grub.
Table no.6 ideal for big group as it's round, however incredibly wonky & unsteady (has been for near on 2 yrs now)
Really REALLY rude staff . Basically no alcohol in cocktails (except mojitos which hammerede big time) and posh people (city people)
Loud and tacky , as I left I saw a hen night coming in. Could be I was too sober and too early to properly enjoy this pub .
Used to be called Cape. It looks like it's a Slug and Lettuce now.
The music is way too loud
They used to do prosecco for £11 a bottle, but now it's £18!! Rip off!
Large bar but service sometimes slack and a bit pricy
And now I know why I don't work in the City
Just opened (today) great spot for lunch and after work friendly staff, solid menu, lovely drinks - George O Connor
Nice sandwiches and chips, service could have been quicker but overall good as waiter was accommodating. - Fiona G.????
Newly opened, and tucked away up on the Barbican Highwalk round by the Museum of London. Trendy decor and food, great cocktail list! - London Symphony Orchestra
