Peckham Rye Common

Such a great open space . Great for running. Taking the dog for walks. Feeding the birds and ducks. You can play bowels, there is a skatepark. I've seen Aussie rules and American football played!

Nice open area . Ideal for enjoying a picnic in Summer.

One of our favourite place to jog, the common is close to Peckham Rye Park with its secluded gardens .

William Blake in 1765 had a vision of a tree filled with angels, bright angelic wings bespangling every bough like stars

Walk through the various gardens by day. Enjoy star gazing at night.

Don't forget leftovers, bread or a few nuts to feed the squirrels and ducks - Especially during the winter months

Hide in the lavender of sexby garden .

The parakeets look cute but they're dangerous little sods that like to dive bomb. Watch out.

One of the nicest parks in London. A real hidden gem .

Lovely park to walk your doggies, and the Japanese Garden is total relaxation.

The Rye is one of SE London's secret weapons. Do not resist the temptation to tell your friends about it.
