Just jump in!!! Is what you have to say and do, when visiting the natural spring; it's cold but 5min in you'll get used to it! Invigorating experience; try an early morning swim instead of coffee .
We absolutely love it here. Just down the road from the house, but a quiet , nature filled escape that reminds of of my favourite places in NY (no no, think St Lawrence). Come early or mid afternoon.
Early morning walks before and during sunrise will find you lots of surprises around every corner. Walk with a soft foot in order not to spook the wildlife for some great pictures!
Guests seeking an adventure in a natural environment can canoe or kayak down the Wekiva River to view some of Florida’s old pristine landscapes and native wildlife
Rent a canoe to explore, swim , wear sunscreen ! Some campsites flood in high rain - be prepared, but don't let it deter you. Soft serve ice cream at concessions - cheap & delicious on a hot summer day!
Canoeing is fun, swimming in the lagoon though the water is sooo cold! Hiking is great as well just have insect repellent and lots of water!
Beautiful park for snorkeling , canoeing , and catching a glimpse of Florida's amazing wildlife . Don't forget your sunscreen !
The DJ keeps you going with your beer in hand in the water, got to do the waterside and also keep the beach ball in the air
Gotta make sure I bring my swim trunks next time I visit. Wish the kayaking costs were a little more reasonable.
Get there Early as park can reach capacity on special Holidays really quickly a d not be able to go in.
Indian heritage and a beautiful river . I Love Thinking of all the history
Please leave your boombox at home. Believe it or not, no one else wants to listen to Pitbull at 100 decibels.
Be sure to bring a float for lounging !
Canoeing is great! Don't lean to the sides tho! ????
Bring bug spray if you plan to go on the trails !
Definitely kayak here! It's amazing
The springs are always 72, so go when it's 90 outside.
Happy Birthday Dosha! best place for swimming ever!
Come early, park fills quickly, opens at 8:30 am, usually fills up by 11 am on normal days and then no others permited....
A must do!!

Great place to spend a hot afternoon!
Hiking trails are awesome and there's always deer out
